Police State Stole "Police State" Producer's Ad Money

Biden Regime Refuses To Return $106,000

A Rasmussen poll in September found that 72 percent of voters know that America is becoming a police state and 46 percent are very concerned. The poll described a police state as a tyrannical government that engages in mass surveillance, censorship, ideological indoctrination and targeting of political opponents.

“Police State,” produced by D'Souza Media LLC, and released in late October, focuses on the weaponization of the judicial system against Conservatives, Christians, Republican and Trump voters, and covers a number of topics, including Big Tech & government censorship, the political indictments against President Donald Trump, the persecution of Americans who were in their nation’s capitol on January 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 2023, the growing authoritarianism of the federal government, and more.

As outlined on policestatefilm.net, the film was released across America for showings in over 700 theaters. The film has been stunningly successful, with D'Souza revealing that the film has surpassed his previous documentary, “2000 Mules,” in ticket sales.*

Police State Tactic Used Against “Police State”

Police states are defined by certain general characteristics: 1) a highly centralized form of authoritarian government with few, if any constraints; 2) the prevalence of the state in all areas of socioeconomic life; 3) corrupt elections; 4) a state surveillance apparatus; 5) misinformation operations; 6) arbitrary detention without trial; 7) a militarized domestic police force employed for social control; 8) efforts to silence or censor dissent and the media; 9) a lack of respect for civil liberties and human rights and; 10) jailing, executing or assassinating political opponents.

Dinesh D'Souza told an audience that the Department of the Treasury, via the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, intercepted a $106,000 payment to Salem Media from D'Souza that was meant to purchase ads for the film.

Hoping to prevent Americans from learning of the film, the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) held up the advertising funds sent to the media company. According to its website, the OFAC "administers and enforces economic and trade sanctions based on US foreign policy and national security goals against targeted foreign countries and regimes, terrorists, international narcotics traffickers, those engaged in activities related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and other threats to the national security, foreign policy or economy of the United States."

"Why would they intercept our domestic wire?" D'Souza asked. "They can't seize our money and pretend there is some legitimate government purpose for doing it. We now have to retrieve our funds, and it's going to be a hassle.”
