Troglytes vs Cloud Dwellers

The popular Star Trek* television series of the late 1960s aired an episode which introduced Troglytes to the viewing public.  This episode was called “The Cloud Minders” because the Ruling Elite lived in luxury in the clouds, thanks to the labors of the cave-dwelling Troglytes.

The planet’s society was divided between the Troglytes, the great majority, and the Cloud Dwellers, the very, very small minority who controlled everything and every Troglytes.  Troglytes toiled in the zenite mines on the planet to provide Cloud Dwellers with lazy luxury in the clouds.  The Cloud Dwellers rarely lowered themselves, literally or figuratively, to visit their countrymen who provided them with their life of luxury on the floating city of Stratos.  They were not interested in getting to know such lowly creatures.  Can you spell “social injustice?”

CAPTAIN KIRK DISCOVERED CURE FOR TROGLYTES’ HEALTH PROBLEM

The Troglytes, who dwell in and work in the zenite mines, have diminished mental capacity because the zenite produces odorless, invisible gas.  This allows the Cloud Dwellers to abuse and control them.  Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock & Dr. McCoy discovered that normal mental capacity would return if the Troglytes wore special masks which filter out the zenite gas.  They then told the head Cloud Dweller about their medical discovery. He refused to allow the Troglytes to have the masks and was adamant about keeping the status quo.  Can you spell “REAL social injustice?”

The handful of Troglytes who were allowed to dwell on Stratos, working as personal servants to the Cloud Dwellers, do not suffer from this diminished capacity.  Thus, at the time Captain Kirk & his crew arrived on this planet, they were leaders of a rebellion, hoping to unchain their fellow Troglytes and bring them to live on Stratos. Kirk, Spock and the crew helped the Troglytes win their freedom from the tyranny of the Cloud Dwellers.

DOES ANY OF THIS STORY SOUND FAMILIAR?

THIS is exactly why the Deep State & America’s Ruling Elite have committed innumerable felonies, have spent the last seven years maneuvering, manipulating & lying to stop President Donald J. Trump from ruining their lavish, powerful lifestyles even to the point of rigging a presidential election & barely concealing it.

My Troglytes/Cloud Dwellers and Normal Americans/Ruling Elite analogy is not perfect, but bear with me.  You will find my definition of “Normal Americans” below.**

America’s Ruling Elite, who live in Washington DC (that is, in the Clouds of Stratos), on the coasts and in big metro areas owned by Democrats think they are superior to Red-county Americans (Troglytes).  They resent and detest Americans in small cities and rural areas who produce most of the food they eat, looking down on those who reside in “Fly-Over Country.”^     

The Ruling Elite & the Deep State gave us little thought until we resisted & rebelled during the 2010 midterms.  Then they squash us like the Troglytes they think we are.  Obama’s IRS illegally and unconstitutionally flattened the Tea Party movement like a bug so he could get re-elected.

BITTER CLINGERS, IRREDEEMABLES, DEPLORABLES OR AMERICANS?

Obama called Normal Americans “bitter clingers.” Crooked Hillary called us “irredeemables” and “deplorables.” Biden calls us “semi-Fascists” and “white supremacists.” Trump calls us Americans.

These arrogant Democrat jackasses view their fellow Americans as Troglytes, who toil less for our own benefit than for the benefit of the Ruling Elite & the Deep State. They expect us to pay more & more taxes to maintain their power & lavish lifestyles; but, they don’t want to hear about our needs & wants.

Those living in luxury on Stratos claim Normal Americans are too dumb to vote for the “proper” candidate.  After the 2016 presidential election Trump voters were told we should not be allowed to vote again.  Do you think bringing 7+ million illegal aliens into America in two & a half years is all about compassion?  What planet do you live on? 

The Deep State & Ruling Elite will make them voters as quickly as they can, based upon the assumption that 90% will vote for Democrats. Democrats believe these newcomers do not understand that Democrat policies are destroying the very country they just moved into. Their votes will wipe out the votes of Americans who know our country is dying and want to save it.  If Biden thought these potential voters would vote Republican, he would be machine gunning them at the Rio Grande.

NORMAL AMERICANS HAVE HIGH MENTAL CAPACITY, BUT THEY ARE NO LESS ENSLAVED THAN THE TROGLYTES.

Due to the Deep State’s & Ruling Elite’s policies over these last five decades, American society has been dividing into two groups: 1) Normal Americans who toil to support the Ruling Elite and other Cloud Dwellers, and 2) Ruling Elite who benefit off the current corrupt system, and live off the labors of Normal Americans.

This divide was planned as the Ruling Elite implemented policy after policy to diminish the Middle Class, taking more & more hard-earned money from Americans, while pushing as many as possible into poverty and lower economic status.

Like the Troglytes, Normal Americans waited FOR YEARS for national politicians to notice us and our needs.  We thought eventually we would be recognized by Republicans, and they would stand up to the Deep State and Ruling Elite.  We were slow to realize that most Republican politicians in the DC Swamp were also members of the Ruling Elite who wanted to maintain the Troglytes/Cloud Dwellers status quo.  They were protecting their status as much as the Democrats were.  

All Democrat & most Republican politicians are in the same club, protecting themselves from the masses who provide them with taxes that give them power and luxurious lifestyles.

Then . . . came . . . Trump.

* The Star Trek TV series (1966 to 1969) was very popular. The exploration of space begun during the Kennedy Administration spiked the imaginations of all Americans. We were fascinated with space travel and the possibilities of life on other planets.

**NORMAL AMERICANS: I was first hired to write for a blog (Common Sense Conservatives) in April 2017.  I needed to find a shorthand term to describe the majority of Americans in order to distinguish them from the Liberals/Progressives/Marxists screaming in the streets, having hissy fits on social media and threatening & demonizing their fellow Americans.  Since the 2016 election, these haters have taken over the national stage with their histrionics.  Of course, these people existed before 2016, but they were able to hide their sociopathic tendencies behind masks of normalcy when they thought THEY were in charge.  By exposing their hatred & violent streak, they think they can overwhelm and intimidate Normal Americans into silence, pushing us into the shadows again. 

^The term "flyover country" is often used to derisively refer to the vast swath of America that's not near the Atlantic or Pacific coasts. It is used by the Ruling & Elite and many everyday Democrats to put down places they believe are best seen at cruising altitude. The political and cultural faux sophisticates only visit there when they need to, or are forced to.
