Great article. One of my all time favorite show! Gene Roddenberry was so far ahead of his time in understanding social issues. I remember the episode where two “races” hated each other because one had black and white faces with the black on the left, the other had the black in the right. For that, they hated and killed each other.

I remember that Star Trek episode, too!!!!!!! All their stars are now dead except William Shatner and George Takei.
