Why else would they elect him governor? To these voters, our Constitution’s guarantees of individual rights and freedoms are passé. Ferguson doesn’t care if he disenfranchises you. His constituents are the "sheep," conditioned by big government to believe bureaucrats know what’s best for us. Democrats like Ferguson and his fellow travelers are only too willing to oblige, even if it means disenfranchising voters in communities that disagree with his ideology.
I am scared for outspoken Conservatives, including myself. I felt safe from Democrat tyranny because we have a Constitutional sheriff. Now, we wonder how much longer we will have his protection.
Just guessing, but this may be part of Ferguson’s quixotic anti-Trump resistance prep to battle Border Czar Tom Homan’s roundup and removal Biden’s illegal aliens. Progressive Marxists enthrall each other and themselves one-upping each other fighting their perceived enemies, which includes not only Trump, but also the US Constitution.
Good question!! Ferguson's plans to defund sheriffs started some time ago. Yes, Ferguson is obsessed with Trump, but he is also an authoritarian who hates our Bill of Rights.
There are 2 books that I've read recently that are mind-blowing: America's Providential History by Mark Beliles and Stephan McDowell; Freedom Is Costly But Priceless by Dave Meyer. I'd recommend checking these books out for yourself. It's crazy how evil-doers have undermined the American people over the years since our republic was created. Passivity and tolerance have gone amuck. Right has become wrong. Good has become evil. America's founders created a nation and government like none other. A republic for the people and by the people. A Christian nation built on biblical principles. They had morals and a reverential fear of God. Even people who didn't believe or practice Christianity understood the importance of having absolute truth and principles to follow. So now what? What's the answer to fix the mess and moral decay in our country? Point fingers? Do nothing? Pretend that you don't feel the strife and tension? Remain silent? I'd say: exercise your right to vote, stop being passive and apathetic, start caring, research the character and integrity of our elected leaders...for the love of God, take action and be part of the change. Freedom is costly, but priceless. God bless America.

I like “overlords”. Here in Oregon I use “oligarchs” as the Dems have no reason to compromise or adhere to the Constitution. We voted multiple times no sales tax in OR, the Dem Oligarchs voted it in. Just gave it a different name than “sales tax”.
A few years back. One of those little taxes they added based on size and amount of a business sales. Called the wonderful “privilege tax”. For some it’s just factored in price of products, others will charge you. Go buy a car from a large retailer, or “expensive” item and you will see the sales tax added.
No, Oregon, as noted in my earlier post. Oregon citizens voted no to multiple attempts to create a sales tax. Years ago. Dems got their oligarchs in place, like this upcoming session, and added, while small, a sales tax on large sales businesses. Business weren’t happy so they struck a deal that the sales tax could be passed on to the consumer, us, the citizens.
