the law adds dollars to immigration courts and enforcement, and it starts to redefine what to do when numbers exceed viability. we are having a tough time handling all the immigrants. we dont have the housing. our state and local budgets cant handle the influx. which is happening, for many reasons. some political some climate change...
we need to amend immigration laws. and it must be bi partisan because of the way our country is divied up between the two parties. and its played out like friggen football game. we are a democracy, power is shared.

But you’re just wrong on the legitimacy of Roe. Given that abortion (like marriage, bathrooms, sports, general police powers - FBI, ATF) is a reserved issue, NOT a delegated issue that would constitutionally allow SCOTUS (part of the federal government under “limited, constitutional powers”) even to have taken the case, SCOTUS never had authority to hear Roe at all.
If you believe in Constitutional government and a republic of laws, then it follows that Roe was not legit.
If you believe Roe was legit, then it follows that you don’t believe in the rule of law. Pretty simple and not rocket science.
None of this has anything to do with a woman getting pregnant. That’s irrelevant to the issue of the lack of authority the federal government has on issues not delegated to them; it’s just one of many.
Should women be allowed to get an abortion? Of course. But we’re a government of laws so go make the case to your state. It’s a 10A issue. And it’s the GOP who is wrong.

Abortion? Ugh. I’m confused. I give women more credit. They are the driving force behind the most powerful ideas of positive change in this country. Just on this Substack, the women are clearly leading the pack on the most important issues of our time. ( and having raised kids or currently raising the next generation.)
