Teachers Demanded: Only "White" Kids Be Punished

This scene is being outlawed in Portland Public Schools.

The pale-skinned 10-year-old boy with the Anglo-Saxon name was sent to the principal’s office for throwing spit wads. The principle assigned the proper punishment. When the mother was notified, she grabbed her son’s DNA test and rushed to the school. She proved, to the principal’s satisfaction, that the misbehaving boy possessed one-eighth non-white DNA; therefore, he could not be punished. The principal apologized to the boy & to his mother for his “racist” mistake.

This fictional scene will soon become commonplace as the Portland Public School District, the largest in Oregon, adopts racist disciplinary policies that ensure only full-blooded white students can be punished for misbehaving, thus creating systemic racism.

RACIST CHILD ABUSE: OREGON JOINS WASHINGTON & ILLINOIS

A new collective bargaining agreement between Portland Public Schools and its unionized teachers requires school officials to consider a disruptive, misbehaving student's race, gender identity, and sexual orientation when crafting that student's disciplinary plan. In practice, that means only “white” heterosexual students will be punished.

When a student exhibits "continuous disruptive behavior," the agreement says, school officials must develop a "support plan" for the student.  That plan "must take into consideration the impact of issues related to the student's trauma, race, gender identity/presentation, sexual orientation … and restorative justice as appropriate for the student," according to the agreement. The new disciplinary policy also eliminates mandatory suspensions for students who threaten or injure others. Trauma? What the hell does THAT mean?

The district's decision to change its disciplinary procedures for students comes after Portland-area students experienced an uptick in fights and behavioral problems after returning to the classroom for the 2021 school year. The district responded as only Delusional Liberals can. By conjuring up its "restorative justice practices," shifting away "from this punitive way of how we respond" to student discipline, the exact opposite of what is needed to deal with the increased violence. All of this is designed, of course, to create more domestic terrorists like those who rioted in 2020.

This makes perfect sense if your brain has been eaten by the Woke virus. It is just a matter of time before “restorative justice” in Portland Public Schools produces a gang of eight “we are untouchable” boys who beat a classmate to death outside their high school similar to the murder in Las Vegas on November 7th.

BIDEN REGIME PROMOTES RACISM

This policy change reflects a broader effort at both the federal and local levels to develop racist disciplinary rules for public school students. In June, the Biden Regime released a memo urging schools to refrain from suspending students for truancy, arguing that "significant disparities by race … have persisted in the application of student discipline." Thus, the new rules pretend that kids are being disciplined because they are black, brown, trans, etc, and not because they have misbehaved. This completely ignores objective reality, of course. School districts in Washington and Illinois, meanwhile, have also adopted disciplinary policies that ensure only “white” heterosexual students will be disciplined for misbehavior.

In a November 2022 memo, Portland Public Schools' collective bargaining team argued that "Black, Native American, and other students of color are referred out of class significantly more often," reflecting the need to instill "Restorative Practices" into the district's disciplinary process. Maybe these particular students are disciplined more because these students ARE more disruptive!

Before this change, students who threatened or assaulted their classmates were subject to mandatory removal from school. Now, these students can be removed from class and sent to a "self-regulation space" located within the school. Say what? The adults can’t even call this a detention room? Will teachers be serving these miscreants pablum? Perhaps they will give them back rubs to reduce their anger.

The district's new agreement is rampant with Woke manure as though changing the language will magically improve students’ behavior. For example, instead of "handling" a disruptive student the agreement calls on school officials to "support" that student. By all means, let’s support him as he beats up his classmates.  The district used to create a "behavior correction plan" for a misbehaving student—now, school officials craft a "support plan" for such a student. Ha! The bad boys & girls are laughing all the way to their “self-regulation space.”
