King Would Have Hated Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Teaching Blacks They Can't Succeed Without White Liberals
Over the years I have often wondered if the civil rights leader, Martin Luther King, Jr., would be disappointed that his concept of color blindness was replaced with Affirmative Action and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Surely he would be mortified that his dream that all Americans should be judged by “the content of their character, and not the color of their skin” had morphed into a racist grievance industry wherein Americans compete to be more oppressed than the next person. Had he lived, he would have turned 85 today. Had he lived longer he would have furthered his dream of equality. Instead, race hustlers filled the leadership vacuum left by his death, and America is still suffering because his dream was intentionally sidetracked by these grifters.
THE PROBLEM, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
Wanting to understand the PROBLEM that those pushing “diversity, equity & inclusion” were trying to solve, five years ago I bought a book about DEI. Failure! Nowhere in that rather large, hardback book, written by a woman claiming to have spent her career developing & selling DEI instruction materials and teaching DEI trainers, could I find the PROBLEM that they were trying to solve. Her book was a sob fest as she complained that DEI training was not changing Americans into the brain-dead Liberals she had hoped. She whined that numerous surveys show that Americans who had been subjected to DEI training were just as “racist” (her word) after the training as before. Couldn’t she have used a page or two to explain the PROBLEM?
In my quest to find the PROBLEM that needed to be solved, I discovered that a former employee of mine had bought into this nonsense and had opened a DEI consulting business in 2022. I have read through her website a number of times and could not find the PROBLEM she claims she will fix, if employers hire her to train their employees.^
About 18 months ago I subscribed to receive emails from a company based in Chicago which advertises itself as DEI consultants. Since then, I have received many emails from them, none of which explained the PROBLEM they claimed they would fix. Their fees to teach your white heterosexual employees that they are disgusting reprobates, however, are enormous: $5,000, $10,000, $30,000 for just a few hours of indoctrination.
The undertone of these DEI emails is disturbing. There is an underlying assumption that human beings are bad, even evil, and that only DEI training can mold them into acceptable citizens. They show no interest in helping “underrepresented” people. Those who write these emails believe “non-whites” are inferior to “whites” and they have no hope to improve their lot in life. DEI training teaches “non-whites” to blame whitey for anything bad that happens in their lives, and teaches “whites” they need to get rid of their “whiteness.” Ha!
SHUT UP “PERSON OF COLOR,” I WILL SPEAK FOR YOU*
“When ‘diversity training’ was forced on all Oregon State employees, the trainer asked if anyone in the room was 5th generation Oregonian. I raised my hand. No one else in the room was 5th generation. The trainer had recently arrived from Arizona. He asked me to go to the front of the room of about 40 people. As I went forward, I proudly stated I was descended from a well-known (white) Oregon pioneer and mentioned his name. His face could have turned to stone. He was mad. This was not the outcome he wanted. He wanted an Indian - I kind of look Indian (my mother is Japanese-American). He immediately told me to sit down.”
So, this jackass, who claims to support “people of color” did not want THIS “Oregonian of Color” to talk to the class. HER experience in life must be silenced.
USING SUBTERFUGE TO FIND, ABUSE & TERMINATE CONSERVATIVES*
“In March 2021, the employees of the Washington State Department of Social & Health Services, Elder Abuse & Neglect Unit, were required to attend diversity sensitivity training. The leader divided the employees into groups based upon “identity.” I was put in the ‘white’ group. We were told we could speak freely and need not be concerned about repercussions. I announced that I was a Christian Conservative who had been discriminated against because of my beliefs. The following day the personnel department opened an investigation on me. In May I was advised of the investigation and asked to respond to the allegations. In July I was ‘found guilty.’ I had several weeks to decide whether to resign (and maintain my retirement benefits) or to fight the allegations. I knew that the State of Washington was purging Christians & Conservatives from state employment; and thus, I had no chance of winning. I resigned, found a job in a Red State and moved.”
“PEOPLE OF COLOR” ARE TOO STUPID TO SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES**
The pale skinned Liberal stood before a room full of attorneys explaining how to treat Vietnamese-Americans. You see, attorneys had recently lost their freedom of thought. The Oregon State Bar, which licenses all those practicing law in that state, had mandated diversity training. Attorneys had two choices: attend these classes when you are told, or lose your license to practice law. In the spring of 2002 the first such indoctrination class was held in downtown Portland.
The speaker was not only patronizing the attendees, she was presuming to speak for Vietnamese-Americans instead of bringing a Vietnamese-American to speak about his/her experiences. There were plenty to choose from because, during the 1970s & 1980s, the greater Portland area received many Vietnamese refugees. Of course, it was not about helping attorneys to deal with such clients. The mandatory diversity training was all about Leftist indoctrination designed to intimidate & divide Oregonians. That was before the words “equity” and “inclusion” were added to this hate-filled ideology.
CONCLUSION
Don't you need to define the problem before you can find an effective solution? Of course, the real goal is to divide people, get people to hate each other, train people to be afraid to talk to each other, and to keep “whites,” Christians and “conservatives” from opening their mouths.
After a great deal of research and pondering, this American has figured out what DEI is really about:
Diversity: Diversity of thought is not allowed. Even homosexual black Liberals are punished if they utter non-approved ideas. In the years leading up to my retirement I noticed that even my Liberal colleagues were afraid to ask questions at the DEI seminars we were forced to attend (or lose your license to practice law). “Wrongthink” was changing so fast one never knew what thoughts were allowed. DEI is driven by Marxist ideology which requires people to stop thinking for themselves, let Marxist leaders do all the thinking for them.
Equity: Those who promote DEI are racists. They believe “black” and “brown” people are not capable, so “whites” must be forced down to below the level of these hapless people. As American society produces ever more feral people and ever more under-educated people it will be the DEI “experts” who decide who gets ahead in life and who is left behind.
Inclusion: DEI trainers believe that “black” and “brown” Americans and various others cannot be socialized, so the rest of us must learn to accept these feral people. Americans of all races & creeds must accept perverts, child molesters, rapists, murderers, robbers, shoplifters, lazy employees, under-skilled employees, bullies, drug addicts, domestic terrorists, et al. What do you think “defund the police” is all about? Accepting feral people and treating them better than the rest of us.
