I’m being misgendered at work. How can I make people use my pronouns?
Marxists Created Another Narcissist
Following is a question recently submitted to an advice columnist:
I’m a young professional in my second year at an office job that I love. I’m also nonbinary – neither a man nor a woman – and my pronouns are the gender-neutral “they/them.” My workplace is very accepting, and my pronouns are displayed on our agency’s website and on a nameplate at my desk.
Most of my coworkers are mindful of how they refer to me, and correct themselves when they make mistakes. However, there are a few people in our small office who have trouble getting it right. I have to make choices every day between the discomfort of getting misgendered and the vulnerability of correcting others, and I accept this as part of my daily life as an openly nonbinary individual.
But at a certain point, when someone I know well and see every day doesn’t even notice when they’ve gendered me incorrectly, it can be hurtful. I try to continue correcting people that slip up, but it gets more difficult as it becomes clear they aren’t making the effort to avoid putting me in that position in the first place. What should I do?

Diane’s Advice to Tired of Trying:
You are a narcissist. Seek help immediately!!! You have the delusional belief that you have the right & power to change the English language and to force others to use YOUR words. You have fallen into the trap The Left has been building for decades: changing the meaning of existing words and creating new words to fit the delusional, hateful society/country they hope to establish. That said, “they/them” is, perhaps, one of the most delusional, designed to divide, confuse, manipulate, censor and control. This is EXACTLY what George Orwell’s book, “1984,” written in 1949, was all about. And you have fallen into The Left’s delusional trap. Just wait, someday Orwell’s thought police will come after YOU.
Marxists have made up many words to fit the dystopian world they are in the process of creating. To fit this new world and/or to hide what they are doing from the masses, they have also bastardized long-held definitions. Three relatively recent examples: 1) They changed the definition of “recession,” hoping to hide the fact that Joe Biden intentionally created increases in virtually all goods & services in order to impoverish Americans; 2) They changed the definition of “white supremacist” to include anyone who criticizes government policies; and 3) They changed the definition of “equality” to mean, if your skin is not white & you are unhappy with your life, you are a victim of successful “white” Americans. Hell, Asian-Americans are now “white” because they have a high success ratio.
You ARE either a man or a woman. Period! There is no such thing as a person who is “non-binary.” You may be a woman who “feels” different than the average woman and has a unique sex life. You may be a man who “feels” different than the average man and has a unique sex life. Fine! Live as you choose. However, THAT does not give you the right to demand that co-workers turn the English language upside down to please you! The pronouns “they” and “them” refer to more than one person. YOU are ONE person; therefore, your pronouns are either “she/her” or “he/him.”
The sooner you learn that YOU are not the center of the universe and that others do not have to denounce reality in order to keep you happy, the happier you will be. YOU are not the only person who has his/her feelings hurt from time to time. That is called LIFE.
What did the advice columnist have to say?
She told this “Karen” to go whining to HR, claiming that “they/them” had been “standard usage” for over five years. Say what? In what universe? Whatever galaxy she lives on “they” don’t speak English.
Another barf bag please!!
