I’d bet had it not been for the old codger with a cane (which could describe must of the unrelenting D’s), Trump would have perfectly nailed 90 minutes.
Regardless, it was perfect for showing the world how destructive the left is. My non-political buddy that voted for Clinton and Obama, said “Wow. I just got done with Trumps speech. Wow. I liked it a lot .very impressive. His method is different, but effective.”
Trump's speech was fabulous!! It hit the right tone, did not bash the dementia patients very much and talked about how he was building America's Golden Age. That was the topic during our podcast taped this AM.
I had a choice between watching Syracuse basketball or the speech. I chose to watch the speech, Diane, and had the computer on a real-time scoring website during the speech. As soon as the speech was done, I switched to the game. I had no interest in the Democratic response.
Democrat response had some good points had she not also thrown in all the tired junk Democrat talking points. She’s ex CIA. Mid-western articulate and young. But she threw in the old tired cliches I just couldn’t stomach it. She chose divisiveness unfortunately (“we want a secure America but sending army to border isn’t the right way. We need Congress to act”. Yeah no kidding and the Democrats haven’t thus military needed is what I was yelling at my TV (I know stupid but her speech illicit such retort)).
I know. I usually do not. It had been recorded so started. And start went well then was just ridiculous. The left likely loved it. But half of what she said they had every opportunity to do something on and did nothing. Can’t blame her as she was elected this cycle. I couldn’t stomach watching it.
I did not realize Green had already filed nonsense impeachment charges. Hopefully they don't stick. Mr. Zelensky needs to make good on his pledge to come back and sign the minerals deal but Trump needs to go along, too. ABC News called the speech 'the most polarizing" with many false claims. Of course they will say he made false claims. I doubt NewsMax and OAN said that!! Apart from the early disruption, the speech was OK.
Saw brief interview after his perp walk (sort of seemed like what it looked like as police etc along walls). He stated only reason he was shouting at Trump was because his constituents are afraid of their Medicare being cut. Which isn’t on the radar. Only going after the cheats is.

The left did an incredible amount of damage to themselves by acting like a 3 year old having a temper tantrum. I loved it!
Perhaps the best part was Trump not having a jackass sitting in either of the seats behind him.

The entire House must vote on impeachment petition. He is such a loon, he had not grounds for impeachment so even his looney colleagues ignored it.
