I spent the entire debate watching Gavin Newsom struggle to defend the indefensible. His state has devolved into a steaming pile of you know what and he is the man in charge. His arrogance knows no bounds, clearly - as who would go on national television and so brazenly deny reality to the American people as if we’re fools? Good lord! I correctly predicted that this morning the MSM would shower Newsom with praise, refer to him as presidential and even go so far as to claim he scored a victory over DeSantis. In what universe would a failing governor who rigged an election to avoid being recalled, who has directly devastated his constituents to the point that they are leaving in droves, EVER be rewarded with a path to the Presidency? We’re living in a total clown world!!!

Jo: So very well said!!! We are living in a parallel universe. Conservatives living in reality next door to Liberals living in fantasyland. It is quite amazing. No wonder we can't talk to each other! I always listen carefully when a Liberal talks. Breakfast at the senior center a week ago the lady sitting next to me said she retired from the IRS in 2017. She was telling those at her table that any organization with "patriot" in its name is dangerous and THAT was why the IRS (rightfully) broke the law during Obama's tenure to prevent them from receiving dark money. Ha! She initiated this topic. She was rather sweet (unlike most Liberals) so I said little. When I asked her why the IRS allowed Hunter to NOT pay the $2Million in taxes that he owed, she said . . . "Oh, what a shame! Hunter is causing so much trouble for his poor father." I gave up. It is too much effort to reason with someone this delusional. Diane

Thank you for your excellent report on the Hannity-DeSantis-Newsom debate. I had the luxury of not having to watch it. Instead, I enjoyed reruns of grass growing and paint drying. Your description of the debate and your husband's reaction to Newsom's responses, or lack thereof, is precisely why I didn't watch. Newsom, like most Democrat leaders, lives in a secure, self-created bubble of lies and half-truths offered for public consumption, which in turn are lauded and defended by the mainstream media. Good job, Diane. You nailed it. Your sacrifice is deeply appreciated.

Bless you, John. The 2024 presidential election will determine if America devolves into a totalitarian country without a Bill of Rights. I am trying to do my part.
