The party leadership is full of legislators whose entire job it is to make laws, apparently for no particular reason, since Democrats have made it extremely clear that they believe that laws are to be obeyed and enforced only at their own convenience. They refer to this as "democracy". The frightening part is that about half the nation votes for them.
