South Dakota is proving herself a fortress against globalist schemes to rob farmers of their property by claiming eminent domain for “carbon-capture” pipelines.
This is about much more than just property rights. Until we lay bare the entire climate scam for all to see, we are lost: Understanding Climate Change: 97% of scientists agree with whoever is funding them: https://daveziffer.substack.com/p/understanding-climate-change
You can quickly and easily debunk the "rising oceans" narrative all by yourself - using our government's own tools and their underlying historic tide gauge data: "Rising Oceans - Not": https://daveziffer.substack.com/p/rising-oceans-not
Forty years ago, back in the Pacific Northwest Old Growth timber wars, a little covert undercover action among the environmental radicals operating in Portland, Oregon, we learned the war was more about attacking capitalism than it was saving the trees and the environment. Old growth forests and the Pacific Northwest Spotted owl were just surrogates. Thus, was created the descriptive term for environmentalists: WATERMELONS. They're green outside but a bright, communist red inside.
Excellent point!!! I was very active in NOW (1974-1984) until I noticed that they didn't give a rat's ass about women. "Helping women" were just the excuse they were using to interject Marxism in all aspects of our lives.
Interesting that we should have all this activity in useless industries that will do nothing but damage the land, pollute (you know there will be a pipeline rupture) and kill innocents. Isn't it about time we blow this "Green New Squeal" off and go back to real land management? Some of the best farmland in the world, and they want to bury a hazardous materials pipeline in it. Absurd!
FTA: For the last 140 million years, CO2 levels fell precipitously & steadily to within about 30 ppm of the 150 ppm “line of death” below which plants can’t survive. Both the relatively short-term data from ice cores and much longer-term data going back 140 million years (Berner 2001) show an alarming downward trend toward CO2 starvation. The release of carbon dioxide by the use of fossil fuels has allowed humanity to increase concentrations of this beneficial molecule, and perhaps avert an actual CO2-related climate apocalypse. https://co2coalition.org/facts/140-million-year-trend-of-dangerously-decreasing-co2/
Good grief if it's not one fight to retain our liberties it's another. TU for sharing I haven't seen this issue elsewhere. Def a safety issue on top of the land theft.
Thank you. Another massive waste. I don’t know, maybe plant more. Instead of destroying farm land and forests in South Hillsboro to build to expensive housing keep the wheat fields. Interesting that so called elites need to spend millions on the homeless but build housing that is 300-500k. Only Intel workers can afford that. And instead of combatting “climate change” they tax us and then destroy farmland and forests to put in parking lots. And they don’t see the hypocrisy.
Funny thing is that carbon capture is as simple as buying wooden furniture and building wood framed houses. There are more trees in America than at the time of its founding because humans have planted trees. Many varieties of trees live short lives before they die naturally. We can keep their carbon sequestered in the items we make with their wood for many years beyond when they would have normally died and decomposed.
I know. I worked for native Alaskan company that harvested timber in Tongass Forest. We called the timber division, farmers. Largest rain forest in N.A. and only dwarfed by Brazilian. However not all wood acceptable for housing. But as Diane said but but but.

I want Secretary Wright to put an end to this, NOW!!!

Randy: Check out the article I published this AM. It is about water usage IN HILLSBORO.
Will do.

But, but, but, Big Business could not make money!
