Leftists took over the schools, starting in the early 1970's. I watched it with increasing horror as a middle school teacher with a Leftist principal. When I was in school and when I began teaching, nearly every teacher was a conservative. Now nearly all are leftists, and that is why our young people think Socialism is great. Brain washing doesn't start in college. It starts in kindergarten.
I am hearing that teachers over roughly age 45 are being pushed out of the profession because many of them went through teaching colleges BEFORE they were taken over Woke, DEI and Marxist administrations to make room for indoctrinated teachers. Teaching colleges are now teaching teachers, ON THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS EACH YEAR, to divide kids by race and make them sit/stand according to race. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!
I don't know if that is true or not. Never heard that. But I do know teachers who have left teaching because they can't stomach the nonsense. There are always teachers in high demand who won't be let go because they can't be replaced easily, but they will hire like-minded leftist teachers over conservative ones, if there are many left.
The lure of "free stuff" -- welfare, student loan forgiveness, etc. -- hooks them every time. Tragically, once trapped, very few of them will find the guts and courage to fight their way back to freedom.
Leftist indoctrination in our schools and entertainment media play a large role in molding young minds. In our youth we were entertained by patriotic Americans fighting tyranny and bad guys. Today those bad guys are in charge of our country.
