Problem is, he's not gonna win. Looking at Washington's voting history (at https://ballotpedia.org/Party_control_of_Washington_state_government), Washington hasn't elected a Republican governor since before 1992, probably well before. Looking specifically at the governor's race (at https://ballotpedia.org/Governor_of_Washington) we see that incumbent Democrats win by margins of 250K to 500K votes. And again looking at the voting history, we see that it was possible for Republicans to keep narrow majorities in both legislative houses, making it possible for the to halt the Democrats' legislative madness before it reaches the governor's desk. Wasington is just like Minnesota. An effective state GOP would spend all its time and money winning close races in legislative swing districts where races are won by a mere few hundred votes each, maintaining a majority in at least one house. But instead it goes for the governor's office, trying to close insurmountable gaps, thereby losing everything, and furthermore it does this using the same old Republican talking points with which it has been losing for decades. So next year Washington will continue going down the toilet with yet another Democrat trifecta.

Yes, like California & Oregon, Washington is lost to both street thugs & elected thugs, Marxist haters all.

The typical Washington urbanite is a dope-smoking nitwit whose priorities are to get laid and smoke weed, and whose voting preference is therefore to ensure an unending supply of abortions and joints. He/she is a font of social-justice, transgender, and Climate Change idiocy, having been indoctrinated for years in the Democrats' government schools and colleges. The Washington GOP is not going to win over these mental children with rational policy discussions. The party's highest aspiration therefore should be, no must be, to face reality and focus 100% on winning the outlying legislative swing districts that it can actually win. “It is much more important to kill bad bills than to pass good ones.” - Calvin Coolidge

The Useful Idiot percentage in Washington State is VERY high. Even the nice ones don't have a clue their freedoms are being wiped out, the middle class is being destroyed and America is about to be turned over to Globalist totalitarianism.

Prefer Semi Bird and will vote for him despite having made an early donation to Dave Reichert. Hadn’t heard of Bird until a few months ago. Although new to Washington from Oregon, I’m aware the usual leftist population centers of ignorant, mind-numbed useful idiots will elect Democrats, thus perpetuating and hastening the state’s decline into a socialist hellhole.

He’s going to lose. He’s only mildly better than Culpert. He won’t win King and Pierce counties. I am so sick of the GOP picking losers in Washington. Part of me thinks this was intentional to give the victory to Ferguson. The GOP doesn’t give a shit about winning the state. Congratulations.

BH: We have only lived here since December 2020, so I know little about the inter-workings of GOP politics. Yes, Marxist Democrats have long owned this state and they are not only ruining it, they are wiping out our Bill of Rights. We are already talking about when we will move. What will be the last straw in their ever increasing tyranny. Diane
