SOTU: Biden Called Americans "Legals"

About two thirds of the way through Joe Biden’s third campaign speech last night, Marjorie Taylor Greene said something from her seat up front. I could not hear what she said. Biden very slowly bent over, picked up something white & round like a campaign button, and said “Lincoln Riley, an innocent young woman who was killed by an illegal. That’s right, but how many thousands of people are being killed by legals.” In one breath, the man who lives in the White House made short shrift of what is becoming almost an epidemic of migrant crime, proved he hasn’t bothered to learn Laken’s name, and reduced the American people to “legals.”

Nothing was accomplished by yelling into the microphone, occasionally pounding on the podium, and periodically clenching teeth & fists, but that is what Biden managed to do for the entire 68 minutes. I was so mesmerized by his angry, rancorous tone, I had trouble listening to the words. Did his handlers tell him shouting was a sign of strength, energy & stamina, would make him appear to be in charge? Or, is that just his normal behavior when he is unrestrained? Yelling, when it isn’t appropriate, is a symptom of dementia. His handlers surely know that as they have been trained over these last three years how to deal with a dementia patient.

WHAT BORDER INVASION?

Using the 2024 State of the Union Speech as another campaign speech Biden told the American people what he would do if we gave him four more years. He never explained why he didn’t do it during his last three years in power, other than blaming Republicans, of course. For his first two years Democrats owned the House & Senate.

Failing to mention that he opened our Southern Border on January 20, 2021, he blathered on about the tired and poor that deserve to live in America. Then, pounding the podium, he demanded that Congress pass the faux border security bill. “Send me a border bill NOW, I’m ready to fix this.”

Right after the speech ended, a man in the trenches, Brandon Judd, head of the Border Patrol Union, explained the facts:

“He slapped every American in the face. He didn’t address what he can do. All he did was blame it on President Trump. I had the opportunity to speak with President Trump. I know that the reason he didn’t support that bill has nothing to do with politics. It has everything to do with President Trump understand from day one he can step into office and do a lot more than that bill does. He understands that if that bill were to be passed today, there would be no appetite to pass a better bill when he is in office. So, he looks at this and says ‘I can do a lot more than this,I can actually hurt the country’ if I support this bill. It has nothing to do with politics. Now, when you look at the reason we don’t support the bill, President Biden put us in this situation. He has put us in the situation we never thought we would ever be in. We are apprehending seven times more people than what we normally apprehend. We have more than ten times the “got aways” than we have ever seen. We have more Fentanyl coming into this country than we have ever seen before. We have got more dangerous criminals coming into this country than we have ever seen before. We’re got terrorists on the terrorists’ watch list that are coming into the country. He didn’t address any of that! So, he has put us in the position we are going to accept anything that is better than the status quo. . . . He has the authority right now to do more than that border bill would do, but he is not going to it because, if he did something like that, he would be admitting over the past three years, it has been his fault that we have this crisis at the border. That was a slap in the face of all Americans.”

IF ONLY REPUBLICANS DID NOT EXIST

Biden started his speech by comparing Putin to Hitler and shouting that “Ukraine can stop Putin if we provide the weapons.” He went on to claim that President Trump “bowed down to Putin.” Biden referred to Trump often throughout his angry speech, but never by name. He referred to him as “my predecessor.” After screeching at and about Putin for a few minutes, he quickly pivoted into “January 6th,” as though Americans have not already learned it was a set up. Only the Democrats in the audience clapped & cheered as he railed “insurrectionists stormed this capitol and placed a dagger at the throat of Democracy.” Ignoring that his own vice president cheered on and, in part, paid for the 2020 riots, he screeched “political violence has absolutely no place, no place in America, zero place.”

Then, he made a strange pivot into a new subject: In Vitro Fertilization and Roe v Wade, claiming “freedom is at risk.” Showing no interest in the erosion of Americans’ First Amendment rights, he subtly threatened the Supreme Court justices, who were sitting right in front of him, and whom he looked at and spoke directly to.

He spoke briefly about Covid, then went on to brag that “Bidenomics is working,” that “consumer confidence is soaring,” and he is “creating tens of thousands of jobs, many of those jobs paying over $100,000 a year and don’t require a college degree.” He can be forgiven for being so out of touch with economic reality and ignorant that 80% of America is suffering under his policies. He lives in three mansions, lives off of, in part, millions of dollars in grift money from foreign nations, and his handlers keep away from everyday “legals.”

Failing to mention that it was Republicans who fought for civil rights legislation for a century before Democrats finally caved in 1964 and passed the Voting Rights Act. It was this act that finally, after almost one hundred years, outlawed the Jim Crow laws Southern Democrats had cooked up to block black Americans from voting. He invoked the specter of Selma, Alabama, pretending there is “voter suppression,” “election subversion,” and “extreme gerrymandering,” going on all over the place in 2024 to prevent blacks from voting. Congress must pass the Freedom To Vote Act he screeched!

ANGRY, CANTANKEROUS OLD MAN

Apparently unaware that EVs are clogging up dealers’ parking lots, that Ford stopped making its signature EV truck, that EVs are so heavy they are destroying roads, that EVs are a fire hazard, and that Hertz just unloaded 20,000 EVs so they could invest in more reliable gas-powered cars, he toted a new EV battery factory “he built” in Illinois.

“Americans pay more for prescription drugs than anywhere in the world. It’s wrong and I’m ending it!” He claimed that he has lowered the cost of insulin from $400 per month to $35 per month. I don’t know anyone with diabetes so I was not able to double check this claim. “I want to cap prescription drug costs at $2000 a year for everyone. Folks, I’m going to get in trouble for saying this, but anyone can get into Air Force One and fly to Toronto, Berlin, Moscow, . . and bring your prescription with you and I promise you, I can get it for you for 40% of the cost you are paying now, same company, same drug, same place.”

He went on to talk about how Obamacare had provided health insurance for millions, but failed to mention that millions lost their insurance when this pre-socialized medicine plan outlawed individual plans, and failed to mention that 27,600,000 Americans lacked access to health care in 2022.

Failing to mention that he & Hunter, and the rest of the Biden Crime Family have been grifting off credit card companies since the 1970s, he promised to cut credit card late fees from $32 to $8. “I am saving American families $20 Billion a year with all the junk fees.” This begs the question: You have been tighter than ticks on a hounddog with these companies for decades, why haven’t you already cut late fees?

DEMONIZE AND DIVIDE

He repeatedly screamed the bogus theme that “the wealthy should pay their fair share” but never mentions that the top one percent of income earners pay 42% of federal taxes, while the bottom 90 percent pay only 37% of federal taxes. I am not wealthy, but I get tired of hearing this lie. It is designed to demonize successful people and is an excuse to raise taxes on the middle class. I found it amusing that Biden talked about extending the $800 tax credit that expires at the end of 2025, but failed to mention that it was TRUMP’S Tax Cuts & Jobs Act that created this tax credit. Nor did he mention that Trump significantly lowered taxes for the low-income, especially renters.

There are not enough “wealthy” Americans to support the ravenous DC Swamp. It is the sweat and tears of the Middle Class that funds the ever growing leviathan that seeks to wipe out our freedoms to increase their power.

I listened in vain to hear if he would continue the Democrats’ and his regime’s demonization of Christians. Or, would he lower himself even further to characterize “white rural” voters as “threats to democracy” like racists on television have been wailing about recently? He did not.

Whew! A collective sigh of relief could be heard throughout the US House Chamber and throughout the country that Joe Biden got on and off the stage without falling, and without a brain freeze. Success! This harangue blew new life into his failing campaign.
