It's amazing, the sheer number of things I've never heard about until the arrival of Trump 2.0. I find it strange that anyone (except perhaps a smuggler) would want to own property that abuts a U.S. land border - or for that matter even an ocean border. Are they prepared to personally defend it against a foreign enemy invasion? My guess is .. not.

There are lots of very large ranches in Texas along the border. The state bought the 353,000 acre Brewster Ranch to keep it out of the hands of foreigners or those inclined to use it for smuggling.

Love this. Perfect. Helps military be more readily available and practiced in preparation for a war, and the property is Fed land. Wonder if that means the environmental destruction that has taken place, something the so called progressives are always screaming about, might be reduced. Funny how they care about the environment, but not where the smugglers and illegals roam. Oregon doesn’t allow private ownership of beaches so this is great. I didn’t know Roosevelt did this. Thank you. A new thing learned today.

Hopefully the detention centers won’t be used on Americans later. F-ing repubs always set the Dems up.
