MEET TRUMP’S JUDGE & HUNTER’S FORMER LAW PARTNER: TANYA S. CHUTKAN

Called The Hanging Judge For Her Brutal Treatment Of January 6th Jaywalkers

One thing Americans already know about Tanya S. Chutkan, the US District Judge for the District of Columbia assigned to preside over President Trump’s DC case, is that she is unethical.  We know that she is extremely unethical. The perception of neutrality is as important as the reality of neutrality if Americans are to have confidence in our court system. And Americans in 2023 need to have confidence that President Trump is being treated fairly. 

I practiced law in Oregon for 34 years.  In several of my cases the assigned judge recused him/herself because he/she was acquainted with a WITNESS.  These were CIVIL cases, not criminal cases, yet these ETHICAL judges did not want to be perceived as prejudiced in favor of one litigant. Chutkan has at least four reasons to recuse herself from this case and allow another judge to handle it:

CHUTKAN WAS HUNTER’S LAW PARTNER

After eleven years as a public defender in Washington DC, in 2002 Chutkan went to work at the DC office of Boies Schiller Flexner, which has a reputation for representing only Democrats* and for having the highest number of disciplinary charges & disbarments against their attorneys nationwide. In other words, they employ unethical tactics & unethical attorneys in order to win their cases.  She rose to become a partner in 2007 where she remained until June 2014 when President Obama put her on the DC bench.

Hunter Biden became “of counsel” at the Boies firm in 2010 (as a partner, Chutkan would have been involved in hiring him) and continued in that role until at least the middle of 2014. [It is unclear when Hunter separated from this law firm.]  He earned $216,000 annually for a no-show job that did not require him to keep regular office hours or attend meetings.  His value to the firm consisted of the fact that his father was a corrupt Democrat vice president at the time.  The firm also assisted Devon Archer and Hunter Biden to become members of the Burisma board in April 2014.

Longtime Joe Biden donor & active supporter, David Boies,* and his partners & employees donated nearly $1 million in federal campaign cash during the 2020 and 2022 election cycles to Democrats, including $213,966 to Biden’s presidential campaign.  Records reveal that Chutkan donated $1,500 to the Obama/Biden campaign in 2008, but don’t reveal what, if any, donations she made to the Biden/Harris campaign.

Chutkan served as a volunteer with Lawyers for Obama/Biden during their 2012 campaign.

In case it isn’t obvious to you, Judge Chutkan is a DC Swamp creature. She has spent her entire career in Washington DC. She is a member of the Ruling Elite and has not “rubbed elbows” with an everyday American, other than criminal defendants, in decades.

CALLED THE HANGING JUDGE DUE TO HER HATRED OF J6 DEFENDANTS

Chutkan has emerged as the DC federal court’s toughest judge when it comes to sentencing defendants in cases related to the Capitol protest.  According to a Washington Post database tracking January 6th-related sentences, Chutkan has sentenced defendants to terms that met or exceeded the recommendations of prosecutors in 23 of the 31 cases she’s handled. By comparison, judges have, on average, handed down sentences that fell below prosecutors’ recommendations in roughly 80 percent of all January 6 cases.

Judge Tanya Chutkan has imposed incarceration in every single case, regardless how minor the offense, regardless whether the defendant had no criminal record. In four of those cases, prosecutors were seeking no jail time at all.

CHUTKAN ISN’T SHY ABOUT REVEALING HER BIAS

Judge Chutkan has made it clear that she will continue to promote the BIG LIE that Americans visiting Washington DC on January 6, 2021 were there to overthrow the government, even after two & one-half of investigations and massive evidence to the contrary. Since not one American who entered the US Capitol building that day was armed, these “insurrectionists” were very poorly prepared to carry out the “overthrow.” She also knows that, under the orders of the corrupt Department of Justice to hunt down every American in DC on January 6th, for the first time in FBI’s history, agents are handling misdemeanors. Misdemeanors. Chutkan isn’t stupid. She is just another Democrat hack pushing a false narrative.

“It has to be made clear that trying to violently overthrow the government, trying to stop the peaceful transition of power and assaulting law enforcement officers in that effort, is going to be met with absolutely certain punishment,” Chutkan once said during sentencing.

"Every day we’re hearing about reports of anti-democratic factions of people plotting violence, the potential threat of violence, in 2024," she said in December 2021 before sentencing a Florida man who attacked police officers to more than five years behind bars. At the time, that sentence was the longest for a Jan. 6 case.

What the hell? What is she talking about? As far back as 2021 there were “reports?” She is implying that Republicans and/or Conservatives were plotting violence during the 2024 election. Name one “report,” Judge Chutkan, name just one. The only “violence plotting” being done is by Democrat-supported thugs such as Antifa and Black Lives Matter,** not by those supporting the Rule of Law.

HANDLED THE DEMOCRAT J6 COMMITTEE CASE, RULED AGAINST TRUMP

In November 2021, Chutkan squelched an effort by President Trump’s lawyers to prevent the unconstitutional January 6 kangaroo committee from accessing Trump Administration records that were being held at the National Archives. “Presidents are not kings, and Plaintiff is not President,” Chutkan said in her ruling, implying that Biden is above the law and Trump is not.
