I get it and feel this as well. I’m trying to figure out how to move. As she stated. Beautiful NW. and no bugs, except maybe ants. Truly sad.

Thanks 4alludo Diane. I knew the left coast was crazy and you opened my eyes to a lot more craziness than I ever thought.

Leave COW never ever pay another dollar in taxes or fines. It’s going to take a generation or two to reverse as all current law-abiding conservatives leave and take their votes with them.

It took about 40 years of concerted effort by "progressive" Democrats to create the cesspool we are swimming in now. I advise young people: start your adult lives in a Red State. COW has not yet hit rock bottom and there is no need for you to suffer.

I would not mess around if given the opportunity to fill a SCOTUS. Someone we know is a Conservative and will vote that way. Proven. Ted Cruz. Someone of that ilk.

This is just one tale. I wonder how many others are in the same boat. I hear Texas is turning purple because of the mass exodus from states that the Democrats have ruined, but instead of learning from it, the emigrants from the west are bringing their miserable politics with them. It's like someone urinating and defecating in their homes, then moving to a new home to do the same.

Conservatives enjoy life and take things for granted, but we must learn to fight and oppose policies like these before they gather momentum. We have to get out of our comfort zones, attend city and county meetings, and otherwise make our values heard, and heard LOUDLY.

I have published 41 Tales so far. Yes, there are many, many such stories. Off the top of my head, I can name over 30 people who have escaped Oregon or Washington since 2020. All these tales are not about moving from Blue cesspools to Red places. Most are about how hard it is to live in Blue Areas. Do you know someone who lives in Texas who might want to tell me their tale? I protect their IDs. Here is a Texas Tale: https://dianelgruber.substack.com/p/living-behind-enemy-lines-tale-14?utm_source=publication-search
