Living Behind Enemy Lines, Tale #26: Hiring Foreigners As Police, Sheriffs

On the heels of a new statute that grants all types of professional licenses and certificates to illegal aliens (see article below), Washington State’s Democrat lawmakers have drafted a bill (SB 5022) which will allow police departments, sheriff’s offices, correction departments, et al, to hire foreign nationals. Yes, and give them guns. The same bill would allow district attorney’s offices to likewise hire foreigners to prosecute Americans. This, too, comes on the heels of 1) lowering standards for obtaining a license to practice law, 2) giving law licenses to illegal aliens, and 3) giving employers the right to hire illegals (see article below).

During the 2025 session the Washington State Legislature will be dealing with SB 5022 at the same time they will be deciding whether or not to pass HB 2027 which would allow the governor to fire ELECTED sheriffs and replace with his own lackeys.

REPLACING AMERICAN POLICE WITH FOREIGN POLICE

Perhaps the most disturbing part of SB 5022 is how they deleted “a lawful permanent resident, or a deferred action for childhood arrivals recipient” and inserted the vague “legally authorized to work in the United States under federal law.” The old language is very clear. Any American who reads those words understands what they mean and who these individuals all. The new language does not define which foreign nationals are eligible to be hired. What does “legally authorized to work” really mean? Who are these individuals? The Biden/Harris Regime bastardized and twisted the meaning of our immigration statutes so much as to be almost unrecognizable. For example, they gave massive (never done before) numbers of foreign national “temporary protective status,” which allows foreign nationals to live here and work here temporarily.^

The most troubling aspect of this bill is the fact that foreign nationals who, by definition, have not sworn allegiance to the United State of America, will not only be carrying guns, but will have the authority to use them against American citizens. With such authority, foreign nationals will be arresting, charging, jailing and prosecuting Americans, thereby further devaluing the status of American citizenship.

DISENFRANCHISING AMERICANS

Attorney General Bob Ferguson is about to be sworn in as Washington’s governor. He has already formed task forces to scheme and plot how to outlaw Washingtonians’ right to speak, write and think. SB 5022 is part of their long range plan to diminish voting rights, as well. Ferguson and the Marxists who hate our precious Bill of Rights are zeroing in on Constitutional Sheriffs first because they protect us from overbearing Big Government.

^"Temporary Protected Status" (TPS) refers to a temporary immigration status granted by the U.S. government to nationals of specific countries facing ongoing armed conflict, natural disasters, epidemics, or other extraordinary and temporary conditions that prevent them from safely returning home, allowing them to live and work legally in the United States during that time period; essentially providing protection from deportation while their home country stabilizes.
