We live in a country full of people who are stupid enough to imagine that you can conduct an honest election using mail-in ballots and (intrinsically unaudited) voting machines, and that men pretending to be women should compete in women's sports and shower in their locker rooms. I think the only reason our fragile Constitutional republic has lasted this long is that nobody had yet imagined that such exploitations were possible. Biden's genius is that it occurred to him that open borders were even thinkable, much less doable. The fact that the sponsors of all this insanity, i.e. the Democrats, are in office at all anywhere in this country suggests to me that we cannot survive in our current form. There's a reason that almost all of humanity has lived under dictatorships; the naivete and stupidity of the average person ensures that any other form of government is too fragile to survive.
I don't know how to respond. America is dying. Can it be said we are committing suicide? Or, should we say the Democrats are murdering us? I am developing a deep hatred for Democrat voters. With eyes wide open they are voting for their own demise.
Our reality, I believe, is that until recently the USA was living under an implicit dictatorship, which was that of the Christian Church. As I child I remember being heavily constrained by the moral strictures that had been taught to me in both Lutheran and Catholic churches (I was a produce of a "mixed" marriage!). The church imposed societal conventions that were either simply not broken, or when broken were scorned. This voluntary shadow "government" filled the gaping holes in our formal legal system, so that we didn't have to account for every conceivable deviant behavior by writing an explicit law to prohibit it. In the increasing absence of this implied governance, we are falling apart. I now fully understand John Adams' statement: "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
