Sounds admirable, but short of endlessly filing lawsuits, how do you fight in a state where urban Democrat lunatics dominate every election? I live in the People's Republic of Minnesota, where the GOP (MNGOP) keeps trying to win major statewide races that it has no chance of winning. My advice to Republicans in every state dominated by blue-haired lunatics is to spend ALL your time & money winning non-urban swing districts in an effort to gain & keep a majority in at least one house of the legislature, allowing Republicans to obstruct all insane Democrat legislation. I've been preaching this for years. Every election cycle, my Republican peers revile me as a defeatist, put on their Don Quixote armor, and lose yet more unwinnable races, putting their party in perpetual debt. In 2022 we finally lost our one remaining political asset, which was our one-seat State Senate majority, giving the Democrats unstoppable power. All hell has broken loose, of course, but Republicans here simply won't accept any reasonable expectations; we had the wrong candidates, and next time we'll win for sure! My 12 years here have taught me a lesson: if there's anything dumber than Democrat governance, it's Republican election strategy.
Dave, you hit the nail on the head: Washington's GOP is also very weak. Indeed, where I live most of the year, Pacific County, the GOP chair was FORCED to endorse Trump by the membership in February. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THEY ENDORSED TRUMP, despite the fact that Trump won the county in 2016 & 2020!!!!!!!
