Some comments on your relative "Roy", most of which will be "replies" to this one. First, I have mixed feelings about him. He's obviously hare-brained enough to buy the Democrats' "Democracy Will Die" schtick. It's hard to see anything positive about anyone who would parrot such idiocy. Anyone with at least half a brain knows that what will really die under Trump is the careers of a bunch of Deep State crooks running our federal agencies. And of course we were told before the 2022 election that if Republicans won the House, democracy would die, when of course what would really happen and is happening is that Republicans would gain control over the House investigations, and thereby uncover the pathological criminality of the Democrats.

Finally, back to the negative. Roy's fixation with the Democrats' indictments and his nonchalance about the lack of prosecution of Biden's increasingly obvious crimes (which have been public knowledge since 2018 for those who cared to look) suggests that he is a captive of the mainstream media. He's living in the Matrix, where up is down and left is right, and he doesn't seem to notice. He has no idea that he is Drowning in an Ocean of Lies: https://daveziffer.substack.com/p/you-are-drowning-in-an-ocean-of-lies

Roy is smart enough to realize that we are "in debt beyond recovery," and we know this is a bi-partisan issue. This is one of the places where I fault Republicans more heavily; at least the Democrats don't lie about their plans to bankrupt us. Anyone capable of doing a little arithmetic (and thanks to the public schools that would be fewer and fewer of us) can figure out that 330 million Americans can never dig out from under $33 trillion in debt. Keeping us afloat will require that we continue doing what we've been doing from decades - screwing over the rest of the world by sheer brute force.

But then of Trump Roy says, "His ego can't control his idiocy." Trump is not an idiot, but his ego and his over-the-top rhetoric are his greatest liabilities, which is why I wish he'd pursue other avenues and leave the presidency to DeSantis, who is a competent politician. Trump would be far more effective if he weren't running for president: "Trump could have been the 'Soros of the Right' (but he isn't)": https://daveziffer.substack.com/p/trump-could-have-been-the-soros-of
