That’s OK. Before his stroke, Wilson (D) campaigned on staying out of WW1, then promptly entered.

The consequences?

Rather than just another Franco-Prussian war with some territory trading hands in a negotiated deal, America’s entry

- Prolonged the war

- Set the stage for the Russian Revolution that birthed the USSR

- Laid the table for France’s absurd financial demands on Germany, creating the Weimar hyperinflation that birthed Hitler & WW2

- Gave Ukraine the Holodomor

- Ensured the rise of the PRC

- Gave the world the Cold War

- pushed America to land on the moon.

DemebtiaJoe is working to top Wilson’s record by giving the planet WW3

Even Barry Soetoro wouldn’t waste his time on this goof ball! Barry’s an ass but he’s not morbidly stupid.

Diane: Have you read "Madman In The White House" by Patrick Weil? It's a recently published book about Wilson and about the psychological study about his decline and what many felt was psychosis that was published in the 1920's, co-authored by US Ambassador Bullit and Sigmund Freud! I've just started to get into it, but it's a cautionary tale for sure. The Democrats of course like to charge Trump with being the madman, but in typical fashion they're charging someone else with being guilty of what THEY are up to!!

Since childhood I have been interested in presidential history, read a lot. But, have not read that book. Historians "credit" Wilson with starting the administrative state, that is the Progressive Movement. I am devoting 2024 to saving America. Next year I will have time to resume my hobbies. Thanks for that tidbit.
