David Muir asked Harris the very first question of last night’s debate: “When it comes to the economy, do you believe Americans are better off than they were four years ago?” She refused to answer, starting off with canned remarks full of lies: “I was raised as a middle class kid.
It's stunning how she can spout so many lies in such a short time. And what Rush used to call The Low Information Voters will believe her. I hardly know where to begin. That's a great summary.
One example. I paid $1.69 a gallon for gas 2 days before Biden came into office and $3.29 a gallon at the same station less than 2 weeks later because of all the Executive Orders that Biden signed the afternoon of Jan 20, 2021. Then he begged Saudis to sell us more oil. We were Energy Independent when Trump left office.
I did not watch Comales train wreck but I heard all about the lies and she is absolutely shameless, which we already knew. Don’t forget she was a call girl and that’s how she got her start into politics! And expanding further on the lie about increasing oil production; what they did do was raid and nearly deplete the nations oil reserves, Of which they sold around half to China! They used the rest to falsely lower our gas prices minimally after doubling them! The whole Democrat party is nothing but a bunch of Commie, brainwashed, malcontents and they cannot keep power even though they’re in there illegally in the first place.
Kamala started the debate by ignoring the most important question of the night by launching into a series self-platitudes, tripe and bunkum followed by a stream of never-ending lies we've heard from Democrats for nine years. The collective ignorance of low information Democrat voters will again be duped by the state propaganda news media services that continue to mislead the nation. Despite the three on one debate chock full of antagonistic false accusations and blatant lies by the Democrat trio, Donald Trump prevailed.
Diane! you are a better fact checker on Kamala than ABC. She lied so much during this debate and got away with it. She gets away by avoiding explaining her policies and not doing interviews.
Unfortunately, Kamala's handlers trained her to attack Trump's weak spot - his ego - and so she succeeded in having him spend most of the debate angrily defending himself. Yes she spouted the usual lies about what Trump has said and whether he's implementing "Project 2025". But she also succeeded in telling the biggest lie - that she's some kind of moderate with a plan for strengthening the USA. Trump failed to bring up her well-documented Senate track record of ultra-left radicalism, of which he could have provided examples. Since Harris refused to answer the most important question ... Trump could have used his closing argument to do what Ronald Reagan did, and it would have been doubly effective because Trump had the last word. All Trump had to do was quote the differences in prices of a few commodities, mention that the most effective way to destroy lower-income people is via inflation, and point out Harris' absurd hypocrisy in claiming that she's going to provide a financial boost to the people she's spent four years destroying. He could have smiled a bit and made some memorable joke about Kamala, tying her name to any one of her administration's failures (Kamalistan, Kamalikraine, and Kamalinflation come to mind). He could have been more clear in enunciating the human costs of the two wars currently underway and comparing them to zero under his administration. He could have ended with something like, "During my administration, the average national gas price was never over $3, and now, just in time for the election, Kamala's administration is desperately trying to wrestle them DOWN to $3 after spending months at well over $4. He could have ended with Reagan's famous, "Are you better off today than you were four years ago?". But he didn't. Instead he seemed to be just ranting. It astounds me how much Republicans revere Ronald Reagan and the successes he earned with his simple directness and his always-in-command style, while apparently having learned nothing from him. To the average uninformed dimwit, appearances are everything, and last night Kamala pulled it off - she created the appearance of being in control.
Four people (or more?) were debating Trump. He did a great job! Trump does Trump very well. Does your spouse/other/pet, expect you to do their previous partner?
It struck me that the moderators were fair except for their "fact checking" debacle. This debate was Trump's to lose, and he lost it by letting Kamala lead him around by the nose. All he had to do was maintain a calm, cool demeanor and deliver his own talking points on his own terms. There is no excuse for his failing to do that.

Those are the people who will vote for Harris.

Omg! Let me guess, you’re voting for Kamala? Gee whiz! Yeah sure Trump lost in your mind!
No, I'm not voting for Kamala based on Trump's debate flub. Unfortunately, a lot of people who Trump could've educated will be.
