It seems to me that someone among us should be hosting a web site whose entire purpose is to document specific venues that have refused us service, complete with specific venue names, event names, dates and stated reasons.
Great idea! But, is there a liability problem? Could they sue, claiming we defamed them? If you live in a Blue Hellhole, which you do, you can be "Trumped" by the jury, such as they did to Donald today in NYC.
I'm pretty sure they can't win if the site merely lists the details of the refusal. Time, date, email content (if any), phone statement (preferably recorded), etc. Just the facts, ma'am.
Before we learned what the grange did, we discovered a cheaper and nicer venue. The grange charged $250 and the other venue charges $50, so we will be saving money, too. I want NOTHING further to do with these haters.
