Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy spoke with large groups of lawmakers yesterday to discuss their plans to slash government spending and waste. Donald J. Trump is still seven weeks away from being sworn in as America’s 47th president. Yet, he is already keeping one of his main promises: Defanging the Deep State, AKA DC Swamp, AKA Federal Leviathan.^
Senator Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, chair of the Senate's DOGE Caucus, led the meeting with senators to unveil a 60-page cost-cutting proposal. "I'm very impressed with what Elon and Vivek want to accomplish," Senator Rick Scott, R-Fla., said after leaving the DOGE Caucus meeting. "I can't talk about what they are going to be proposing, but I've known them for a long time, and I think they're going to do a great job."
During the caucus meeting, Ernst proposed the federal government relocate Washington’s workforce across the country, and for Congress to set a goal for all federal government agencies to achieve a 60% daily occupancy at their headquarters.
NEW DEFINITION OF ONE PERCENTERS
Elon Musk, chosen by President-Elect Trump to run the Department of Government Efficiency, along with Vivek Ramaswamy, is wasting no time in studying the massive bureaucracy and determining which worthless job and/or regulation must go. One of their first and perhaps easiest steps, is to force federal employees, who have been “working” at home for over four years now, to return to the office in hopes that some will opt to quit instead. Other than security guards and maintenance workers, only one percent of DC’s federal workforce is actually working in the government offices taxpayers are paying for. Yes, I said ONE PERCENT!
Outlawing “remote work” will affect some agencies, and workers, much more than others. How much time federal staffers spend “telecommuting” differs by department, according to an August report from the Office of Management and Budget. Musk and Ramaswamy made clear in a Wall Street Journal op-ed that requiring in-person work will save the taxpayers billions of dollars, which is the main goal of DOGE.
WORTHLESS BUREAUCRATS ARE QUITTING
According to insiders, the mere existence of DOGE is already leading some longtime federal employees to leave their jobs: “He intended for them, for people just like this, to be intimidated and just go ahead and quit so he didn’t have to fire them. So his plan, to some extent, is working.”
Elon recently publicized four positions in “climate policy and regulation” that need to go because they do not benefit We The People, and publicly named them on his social media platform, “X.” One such post garnered 32 million views. These four positions centered around diminishing the middle class by massively increasing the cost of living for the majority of Americans via the climate change scam:
Director of “climate diversification” at the US International Development Finance Corporation.
Alexis Pelosi, a relative of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who works as a senior adviser to climate change at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. “Nancy Pelosi’s niece should not be paid $181,648.00 by the US Taxpayer to be the ‘Climate Advisor’ at HUD,” the original account wrote. “But maybe her advice is amazing 🤣🤣” Musk snarked.
Chief climate officer in the Department of Energy’s loan programs office.
Senior adviser on environmental justice and climate change at the Department of Health and Human Services. “Environmental justice?” I am still waiting for a definition of this term. Add the word “justice” to whatever cow manure Democrats are spreading and it sounds compassionate.
Elon and Vivek are working so fast, by January 20th, President Trump will have a huge pile of executive orders to sign, similar to Biden’s pile. But, all Biden’s EOs harmed We The People, and Trump’s will benefit us. We patiently await release of the list of tens of thousands of useless and dangerous bureaucrats who are standing in the unemployment line.
"Other than security guards and maintenance workers, only one percent of DC’s federal workforce is actually working in the government offices taxpayers are paying for." THAT'S INSANE! Just Restacked...
Efficient already
