Every free thinking American has noticed that the Biden Regime, their fellow travelers and sycophants, are trying every illegal and unconstitutional way they can dream up to demolish our Second Amendment Rights to bear arms, from arresting people who defend themselves, to denying the military from possessing private firearms, to harassing firearms dealers, to setting up databases of Americans who buy arms or ammunition, to . . . . .

Did Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham conjure up, from deep inside her evil heart, another excuse to disarm law-abiding New Mexicans? “We are suspending open carry . . . No constitutional right is intended to be absolute.? Or, is she merely taking her marching orders from the Biden Regime?

GRISHAM IS A LAUGHINGSTOCK

Yes, everyone is laughing at her, including the Far Left Congressman Ted Lieu (D-CA) and anti-Second Amendment activist David Hogg. Yes, Bernalillo County Sheriff John Allen (Albuquerque, the state’s largest city) rightly announced that he would not enforce the governor’s unconstitutional mandate. “The temporary ban challenges the foundations of our Constitution, but most importantly, it is unconstitutional. My oath was to protect the Constitution, and that is what I will do,” Allen said. “This order will not do anything to curb gun violence other than punish law-abiding citizens from their constitutional right of self-defense.”

Even the Democrat DA is publicly opposing the Democrat governor’s executive order: “As an officer of the court, I cannot and will not enforce something that is clearly unconstitutional,” Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman declared. “This office will continue to focus on criminals of any age that use guns in the commission of a crime.”

ANOTHER “PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY” SCAM

The Democrat governor framed her insidious executive order as a response to a “public health emergency.” It worked so well in 2020 to turn Americans into sheep, the Left has ever since been seriously toying with other ways to use this “public health” scam. In a press conference she admitted that her 30-day executive order was unconstitutional. She reasoned that the courts would not be able to shoot it down (pun intended) until it had already expired. She is testing her population to see what percentage are sheep, meekly accepting her tyranny. If enough of them lay down, another Democrat governor will try it. If enough roll over, the Biden Regime will declare a “public health” emergency nationwide.

A pile of dog poop by any other name is still a pile of dog poop. New Mexico, like way too many jurisdictions owned by Democrats, may have a public SAFETY problem, but it does not have a public HEALTH problem. Curing a public safety problem is no mystery: more law enforcement, more arrests, more prosecutions. Period.

Have you noticed lately? Government officials, especially Democrats, are willing to make jackasses of themselves in public in order to pursue more agendas that tear apart American society, weaken our Bill of Rights and gives them ever more power & control over our very existence. But, it appears this test run failed miserably. Just two days after her edict came down from her royal throne, over 100 armed citizens gathered in Albuquerque, openly defying her mandate, implying: “If you want my gun, come & get it.”

And Grisham was wrong as regards to the court’s timing. Five days later U.S. District Court Judge David Urias ruled that the governor's 30-day suspension of concealed and open firearm carry rights in Albuquerque and its surrounding county went against a landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling (New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen) that people had a right to carry a gun outside their homes for self defense. The court said Grisham’s order would cause irreparable harm to citizens seeking to exercise their constitutional rights.

Americans: Keep an eye out for the next ploy to disarm us, they are coming almost daily.
