We laughed until we bawled as Matt’s assistant wheeled his “Uncle Frank” into the “Do The Work” Workshop and placed him in from of the attendees, apparently all white, who had paid money to be told how horrible white people are. Matt told the class that his uncle, 20 years ago, had told a “racist” joke about Mexicans. While elderly “Uncle Frank” sat in his wheelchair, unaware of where he was and what was happening, the class was told they could spew hatred at him. One ugly young woman with studs in her nose, which looked like snot hanging from her nostrils, yelled “fuck you” at hapless “Uncle Frank.” This scene occurred toward the end of the one hour, 40 minute movie, wherein my husband & I learned there really are people so mean that they would commit elder abuse against a helpless man, simply because he was white and they had been told he make a racist joke 20 years ago.
There were numerous scenes, with different people, throughout the film, but the two scenes that were, perhaps, the most disgusting were: 1) The scene early on when about 15, mostly white, people sat in a circle listening to a black race grifter drone on about how racism promotes grief in both white & black Americans. Huh? Nothing she said made any sense, but the attendees, who had paid, collectively, $30,000 to be there, sat there acting as though she was providing them with some special kind of wisdom; and 2) The dinner table scene wherein an Indian-American woman and a black woman told the ten dinner guests at their Race2Dinner how disgusting they are. These braindead white women paid $2,500 each to be told that their “whiteness” made them inherently racist and irredeemable, horrible people. There were no Republican women at this dinner table.
THERE REALLY ARE SUCH DISGUSTING AMERICANS!
This film was loaded with people that were such strange stereotypes of DEI true believers that we wondered if some of them were paid actors/actresses. According to both Walsh and the film’s director, Justin Folk, every person in the film, except Matt, was real. These “authentic” people really were as disgusting, as pathetic, as race-obsessed, as they appeared to be. Each one of the race grifters was paid her standard fee to submit to an interview and/or conduct a class. I couldn’t help but notice that all the race grifters in this movie were women. Then, I started pondering. It does appear that the great majority of race grifters, at least those who are publicly known, are women.
That brings us to the Race Grifter In Chief, Robin DiAngelo,^ age 68, who resides in and was indoctrinated in the cesspool otherwise known as Seattle. DiAngelo was apparently trained to hate her own “whiteness” at Seattle University and the University of Washington. She received her Ph.D. in multicultural education from the U of W in 2004, completing a dissertation entitled “Whiteness in racial dialogue: a discourse analysis,” just in time to jump on the evolving Race Grifting Industry. She eventually became one of its leading grifters.
During Matt’s interview of Robin, which was in the movie, I learned just one thing: that white people smiling at black people is racist. Now, I don’t want to ever interact with another black person. After all, to be called “racist” is worse than murder in our upside down society where the lunatics are indeed running the asylum.
DIANE IS ACQUAINTED WITH A RACE GRIFTER
During an interview as the film was being released, Matt Walsh was asked something like this: “How many of the grifters you dealt with know they are pushing BS, and don’t really believe the tripe they are getting paid to push?” His answer was 75%. In other words, only 25% of these race grifters sincerely believe in what they are preaching.
I am personally acquainted with a woman I have known since way before the DEI grift was created. She was a level headed student at Portland State University in the late 80s & early 90s. She complained to me about the asinine concept of political correctness there. At the time, it was just then being created to prevent students from freely expressing themselves.
Fast forward to 2022 when she started a DEI Consulting business. What happened to her in between? I can’t answer that question in detail, but I do know she was working for a corporation that forced employees to sit through racist DEI indoctrination. At some point, she obtained a Diversity and Inclusion for HR Certificate from Cornell University’s Online program where she was “trained in the facilitation of race equity conversations.” Matt Walsh also obtained some type of DEI Certificate from an online program in preparation for creating his film.
I also know she divorced her (white) husband of 15 years, and married a (black) man about six years later. Then, the BLM riots hit every major (Democrat) city in America, including Portland, Oregon. Having spent her entire 54 years in the Portland Area, I believe she felt the pressure to conform to all manner of Leftist BS and was slowly beaten down. The bullying can be intensive especially if you work for corporations, such as hers, that are forcing employees to attend periodic DEI classes where one is required to declare your “white privilege.”
If you manage to maintain your dignity and refuse to cave, you will be fired and/or treated poorly by your boss moving forward, the value you bring to your job no longer counts. I believe she is among the 25% who believe they are helping people and society by pushing this crap.
Find a theatre near you which is showing “Am I Racist?”.
I took my kids to see this movie on opening weekend! We were going to attend the 5 o’clock showing, but it was full! We instead went to the 710 and it was 2/3 full. My youngest is 11, but he saw how ridiculous these adults were throughout the movie, And said it was quite funny. Diane, loved your letter to Robyn. That woman has done more harm to this country than perhaps any other BLM grifter, including Ibram X Kendi and Hannah Jones of the 1619 project. She is despicable. I did a deep dive on her “groundbreaking research” which led to the premise of her book, which is white guilt- and guess what, the study was flawed, highly manipulated, and in no way replicable. Imagine that! What’s unfortunate is despite her shoddy work, her book continues to have a profound impact on many people - especially women. Many of my friends from Portland all read it, including their husbands, and quoted her often in discussions. I could barely stand it. That said, it sure felt good watching Matt expose her as the fool she is! We take what we can get with these idiots :)
