Diane Is Laughing Her XXX Off! Oregon "Discovered" Illegals Voting!

This writer did not need a think tank to expose this lawbreaking by the State of Oregon. I practiced law in Oregon from 1986 until my retirement in January 2020. Myself and my attorney/colleagues were all well aware that their illegal alien clients were registered to vote, and that many were voting. However, it took a liberal Chicago think tank to expose this corruption when they recently started asking questions about Oregon’s voter registration.

So, the Oregon Deep State investigated and “discovered” 1,259 non-Americans illegally and unconstitutionally registered to vote. Some may be green card holders but none have citizenship which is absolutely mandatory for voting. Supposedly, at least nine such registered voters have actually voted in past elections. Oregon’s bureaucrats demonstrate incompetence on a regular basis. But, now they are claiming incompetence caused illegals to register and to vote. This is a massive insult to the intelligence of anyone who lives in Oregon.

TENS OF THOUSANDS OF FOREIGNERS ARE REGISTERED TO VOTE

Oregon was the first to eliminate polling locations and implement Vote-By-Mail, which, as we all know and they knew at the time, was and are invitations for fraud. Before that, Oregon had made it legal for ILLEGAL aliens to receive driver’s licenses. Then, it made voter registration AUTOMATIC for ALL driver’s licensees, as well as for those who are obtaining license plates for their cars. And, DMV clerks were required to automatically register said illegal aliens, mostly Hispanics, as Democrats until the person objected. Thus, the Oregon Democrat Party was able to send them propaganda.

Oregon had planned to send 2024 ballots to, they claim, these 1,259 of the illegally registered voters, until that Chicago think tank asked its questions. “Do we know if there are any MORE non-citizens getting ballots in a couple of weeks?” the think tank asked. “Nope,” said the bureaucrats. Don’t count on the corrupt Democrat-owned bureaucracy in Salem, the state capital, to look for any more. Oregon is also using tax dollars to buy houses for non-citizen Hispanics.

HOUSE GOP WANTS PUBLIC HEARING

Oregon House Republicans reiterated their call two weeks ago for a public briefing on non-citizen voter registrations as the number of reported non-citizen registrations increased by over 400% over what was initially reported. Despite requesting the briefing multiple times, as far as this writer knows, House Republicans have not received a formal update.

“A press announcement is no substitute for an open and public hearing,” said House Republican Leader Jeff Helfrich. “Oregonians deserve full transparency about how this happened. We must have a public hearing.”

“It is disappointing that we are all here in Salem this week to do our jobs, but we have no Legislative Rules Committee scheduled to hear from the Secretary of State’s office on this issue,” said GOP Rep. Anna Scharf. “I have personally read in the papers conflicting reports of how this problem was even detected. We need clear answers from the Secretary of State on what the current plan of action is moving forward so that this never happens again.”

DEEP STATE SNUBBED DEMOCRATS, TOO!

Oregon’s Democrat Secretary of State LaVonne Griffin-Valade could not be bothered to attend a recent Democrat-convened oversight hearing into her office’s illegal registration of 1,259 non-citizens as voters. Griffin-Valade’s chief of staff Ben Morris and Elections Division director Molly Woon, former deputy director of the Democrat Party of Oregon showed up. Say What? THAT is like putting the fox in charge of the hen house! They were joined by Oregon Department of Transportation staff to answer lawmakers’ questions about the unlawful voter registrations.

ODOT staff testified because it is the agency which provides information about new driver license applicants to the Secretary of State’s office so they can be registered to vote automatically. Allegedly, they first learned about the registration of non-citizens from an analysis it recently undertook upon receiving a “general inquiry” from yet another outside source.

Witnesses confirmed that there were no double-check safeguards in place at ODOT or Secretary of State to ensure non-citizens were not registered to vote via Oregon’s aggressive automatic voter registration program before the story broke. They claim there are now safeguards.

Democrat Griffin-Valade was appointed by Democrat Governor Tina Kotek to replace disgraced former Secretary of State Shemia Fagan after Democrat Fagan resigned following disclosure that she had inked a $10,000-per-month consulting deal with a cannabis company while her office was conducting an audit critical of the state’s enforcement of cannabis laws.
