Democrats Start Their First Trial Against Trump

It’s official! They did it! Mark your calendars: April 15, 2024 will go down in history as the day Democrats officially turned the United States of America into a Banana Republic. Jury selection started yesterday in the first Biden vs Trump trial.

It will be hard to find jurors who don't have an opinion about the America First former president who began building his real estate empire in Manhattan decades ago. On Day One the judge dismissed 50 from the jury pool.

The jury pool is being questioned by lawyers for both the leading presidential candidate and Biden’s prosecutors. Both sides are seeking to uncover biases and possible political agendas before impaneling 12 jurors to hear what could be the only criminal trial Trump faces before November’s election. Both sides are looking for “trojan” jurors who have already made up their minds about the case and want to be on the jury for political reasons and/or for their own aggrandizement. Biden supporters, of course, are more likely to lie than Trump supporters.

“There is almost nobody in New York who doesn’t have an opinion about Donald Trump,” said trial lawyer Paul Applebaum, who is not involved in the case. “A lot of people think he’s either Satan incarnate or the second coming of Jesus."

HOW DID THEY GET HERE?

In December 2022 the Biden Regime sent a political hack working under AG Merrick Garland, Matthew Colangelo, to the office of Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg for one purpose only: “Get Trump!” They put their heads together and turned 34 bookkeeping entries made in 2017 by accountants employed by The Trump Organization into 34 felony counts.

With hatred eating away at their brains, Bragg & Colangelo ignored the fact that the five-year Statute of Limitations ran out in 2022, before they filed this indictment last spring. They claim said payments were made for the purpose of helping Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, ignoring the fact said entries were made AFTER HE WON THE ELECTION! In their desperation to throw Trump in prison, they also ignored the fact that “falsifying business records” is a Second Degree Misdemeanor in the State of New York, not a Felony.

JURY SELECTION PROCESS

Potential jurors were randomly selected from voter rolls and other state records such as welfare recipients. Since there is no question about citizenship, can we assume there are illegal aliens in the jury pool? They now face a quiz like none other while being considered for a seat at the first criminal trial of a former president in US history. Jury selection is likely to take more than a week. Those selected to serve will then be expected to attend every weekday for six to eight weeks. Biden’s Team will drag out the trial as long as possible to keep Trump off the campaign trail.

Corrupt Judge Juan Merchan, who should have recused himself because of his very close ties to Democrat bigwigs, including Kamala Harris, knows full well that at least 85% of the jury pool voted for Biden in 2020. He has indicated he will not disqualify people based solely on whether they lean Republican or Democratic. It will be a miracle if even one juror is a registered Republican; but, that does not ensure that he/she does not suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome. 

Biden’s Team and Trump’s Team will each be able to disqualify 10 people without giving a reason using peremptory strikes. To dismiss any other potential juror, lawyers must convince Merchan, Biden’s judge, there is reason to believe they cannot be impartial.

“The political climate in Manhattan seems to favor the government, but it only takes one juror to prevent a conviction, so that’s the challenge for prosecutors,” said trial consultant Jeff Frederick.

JURY QUESTIONNAIRE: NO BIDEN QUESTIONS

There are more than a dozen questions about Trump in the list of 42 Merchan approved last week for an initial jury questionnaire, but none about Biden.

The 42-question form asks jurors whether they have ever attended a Trump rally, but fails to ask if they have ever attended a Biden event. Granted, Biden doesn’t hold rallies because no one would show up. But, since this trial was orchestrated by Biden’s Team, for each question about Trump, there should be a question about Biden.

Lawyers will winnow the jury pool down in a process known as voir dire. Questioning takes place in open court, but jurors are able to speak to the lawyers and judge separately if they want to keep certain answers private.

Merchan has ruled the jury pool will remain anonymous, citing potential harassment. But Biden’s Team, Trump’s Team and jury consultants will be given the names of potential jurors, allowing them to trawl the internet and social media for signs of potential bias.

"Have you ever considered yourself a supporter of or belonged to any of the following: the QAnon movement, Proud Boys, Oathkeepers, Three Percenters, Boogaloo Boys, Antifa." Take note: five “right-wing” groups are named to eliminate anyone who might support Trump, but only one “left-wing” group of Biden supporters is named. Obviously, the corrupt judge wants only Biden supporters on the jury.
