Deep State Throws Biden Under The Bus
There are many ways to interpret Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report about Senator Joe Biden’s and VP Joe Biden’s theft of, and illegal storage of, classified documents. On the one hand, Hur announced that he would not prosecute Biden. On the other hand, his excuse for not prosecuting is due to Biden’s senility.
Hur’s report is the first official admission that Joe Biden is not mentally fit to handle the duties of president. Indeed, Hur is signalling that Biden can’t handle any duties, however simple they may be. One TV pundit referred to the report this way: “This explains to the kids why grandpa is biting his caregivers.” Indeed, Biden displayed two symptoms of senility during his very brief press conference: 1) He yelled at reporters, and 2) He thought Mexico was in the Middle East.
Behind the scenes, powerful Democrats have been hand wringing for months, worried that Biden’s ever-worsening dementia is becoming so obvious to voters that he will lose in November. Just one more big incident, in front of the cameras, would doom his campaign. That is why he can’t debate Trump. They are plotting how to get rid of him without the public knowing, and they are fretting over his replacement. The Democrat presidential bench is empty. Hur’s report starts the ball rolling to get rid of Biden, but does not solve the problem of their empty bench.
TOO SENILE TO STAND TRIAL
Although Hur did not use the word “senile” in his report, he made it clear that Biden’s memory was severely impaired. Hur arrived at this conclusion based upon two interviews, totalling five hours, he conducted last October. At the end of the report, Hur called him a "well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory." In another part Hur declared Biden’s "memory was significantly limited."
Biden couldn't remember important details about his own life either, according to investigators. "In his interview with our office, Mr. Biden's memory was worse. He did not remember when he was vice president... He did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died," the report says.
At various points investigators noted how the president's "memory appeared hazy" when discussing the war in Afghanistan debate, "that was once so important to him." Hur repeatedly noted that Biden exhibited, "diminished faculties and faulty memory" in interviews whether with federal investigators or author Mark Zwonitzer, his ghostwriter.^
According to Hur’s report, even six or seven years ago, when Biden spoke to his ghost writer in recorded conversations, he was “often painfully slow, with Mr. Biden struggling to remember events and straining at times to read and relay his own notebook entries.”
DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN
Hur’s report reminds me of July 5, 2016, when the corrupt head of the FBI, James Comey, stood at the microphone and twisted himself into a pretzel. He explained in detail how, as secretary of state, Hillary Clinton had installed and maintained an illegal email server and used it for classified communications. By so doing, she had repeatedly violated numerous federal statutes for a lengthy period of time, according to Comey.
All who watched his press conference were sure he would recommend prosecution. Here’s where the pretzel comes in: at the end of his remarks he recommended that Clinton not be prosecuted “because no reasonable jury would convict.” He came across as a partisan hack who was campaigning for Clinton during that presidential election year.
Hur’s report lists a massive number of violations of federal statutes stretching over a 40 year period beginning in the 1970s when he repeatedly purloined classified documents from the SCIF* where no one is allowed to remove documents. Indeed, senators & vice presidents are not even allowed to remove notes they took while in the SCIF. When a vice president leaves office he is not allowed to take any classified documents with him. Such documents were found in multiple locations between DC and Delaware.
Yet, Hur recommended that Biden not be prosecuted because “Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview with him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” Hur wrote. Sounds like Comey, except Clinton did not have the senility excuse.
