Taxpayers Fund Death Of Free Speech

Remember when Leftist hate groups harassed and threatened the Florida Citrus Commission until it pulled its advertisements from the Rush Limbaugh Radio Show?  That was in 1994.  Since then, threatening advertisers is a censorship tool that has developed into a nationwide industry funded, in part, with your federal tax dollars.

Over a year ago, I watched a YouTube program wherein the host interviewed the head of a small company which specializes in harassing advertisers of “right-wing” news outlets, podcasts, etc.  She claimed that her company had intimidated numerous advertisers to drop their ads with many “right-wing” programs.  She was the proudest of her censorship success that scared off several advertisers from The Dan Bongino Show.

“TRUST SCORES” CENSOR FACTS

America’s Ruling Elite has erected a censorship regime to block and censor voices they dislike, to prevent YOU from hearing these voices.  One entity in this vast web is a company called NewsGuard.  Founded in 2018, in 2021 alone they received at least $750,000 in federal taxpayer funds from the Pentagon to block ideas that were not approved by the DC Swamp, according to documentation obtained by journalist Matt Taibbi.  They publish what they call “trust scores” (can you spell “China’s social credit score?”) for over 8,500 news and information websites.  NewsGuard bases its ratings on nine criteria used by a team of Democrat/Liberal/Progressive/Marxist journalists to assess “credibility & transparency.”  They have NO “right wing” journalists.

In March, journalist Michael Shellenberger testified before the House Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government and was asked about the government’s public-private censorship regime with NewsGuard and Global Disinformation Index (GDI).  He testified they were “both US government-funded entities   .   .   .   working to drive advertiser revenue away from disfavored publications and towards the ones that they favor.”  GDI, also founded in 2018, has received hundreds of thousands of tax dollars from the State Department.

NOTE:  Both these censorship companies were founded in 2018, just months into President Trump’s presidency.  This American does not believe in coincidences in politics, especially pertaining to schemes to persecute President Trump and block his America First policies.  The DC Swamp and America Last members teamed up, using both federal tax dollars and money from wealthy Americans, to sneak censorship in the backdoor of news outlets by threatening their advertisers.

RATINGS TELL US ALL WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THEIR BLATANT DISHONESTY

The New York Times, The Washington Post and Politico received PERFECT scores from NewsGuard for peddling of the Trump-Russia Collusion Hoax and for discrediting the truthful Hunter Biden laptop story.  The key Steele Dossier propagator, Mother Jones, received a rating of 87.5; while, The Federalist received a rating of 12.5 for merely questioning the efficiency of wearing Covid masks.  The online university PragerU lost its former video host, JW Player, because NewsGuard backlisted it.

These partisan, dogmatic, deceitful, fraudulent “wrongthink” rating scores have done a lot of damage to Free Speech and Freedom of the Press.  NewsGuard partners with advertising agencies and exchanges to steer advertising dollars away from news outlets the Deep State and the Democrat/Marxists don’t like.  Through its alliances with Bill Gates’ Microsoft, other platforms and technology companies, NewsGuard’s bogus ratings reach millions of Americans with bastardized “news.”   

GDI doesn’t bother to list the criteria they use to discern “disinformation;” but, naming The New York Times & NPR as their highest rated news outlets is all one needs to know about their love of bias, Left leaning reporting.

THE LEFT CENSORS BECAUSE THEY CANNOT DEBATE

Those who are pushing censorship are Leftist fanatics who cannot tolerate the First Amendment.  Since The Left is unable to win open debates in the public arena, they muffle & choke all other voices.  There are no “right wing” groups or companies promoting censorship against “left wing” ideas by frightening advertisers into cancelling ad contracts.

I am putting “right wing” and “left-wing” in quotes because these are ever-shifting concepts, and because these are words that Democrats are constantly manipulating.  Democrats of 2023 call President John F. Kennedy’s policies “white supremacy” and “right wing” extremism.  JFK would feel comfortable in today’s Republican Party.  Less than a decade ago EVERYONE, Democrats & Republicans alike, agreed that sexual mutilation of little kids was evil.  Now Democrats are not only promoting it, they are passing laws to hide the mutilation from parents and are calling those who oppose “transphobes,” which is another made-up word.  There are many examples of how Democrats have distorted the concept of “right” and “left” since they lost their minds in 2016.
