The Nitty-Gritty Difference Between A Democracy & A Republic
In A Pure Democracy The Minority Has No Rights
Mr. Constitution explains the very important difference between a pure democracy and a republic. Only in a republic are the rights of the minority protected. In a pure democracy, the majority (50.1%) can bully the minority all they want. THAT is why the Democrats are trying so hard to get rid of the Electoral College, so they are forever in charge. As Mr. Constitution so eloquently explains, a pure democracy cannot work in America because Democrats consider themselves superior and, thus, entitled to bully other Americans.
“Aristotle’s third form of government is Rule by the Many, called a Democracy. It will only work when each person has a healthy respect for each of the other people in the group. All it takes is one person who thinks he is better than (or worse than) others to ruin it for everyone. In a Democracy, everyone is as important as anyone else.” Diane
And why must this be explained??? Because this kind of knowledge is dangerous for the democrat party. And the Washington Post’s operating principle is nothing like they operate today! Maybe why Levin refers to it as “The Washington Compost!”
