Stark Examples: The Difference One President Makes
After decades of empowering Big Government and impoverishing Americans, Trump’s America First Team has its work cut out for them. On this, Day Ten of Trump 47, we are already seeing positive results that Trump is cleaning up the mess left, not just by Biden and Obama, but by over half a century of Rule by Unelected Bureaucrats.
In the first 48 hours of Trump 45, President Donald J. Trump signed one executive order. Biden couldn’t wait a minute to start the America Last, Americans Last destruction. During his first 48 hours, Biden signed 19 executive orders all designed to hurt Americans and dismantle America. It is worthwhile to revisit how the Biden Regime jump started their tyranny and destruction by reviewing the following 12 EOs. Let’s start with the most amusing and hypocritical, the “Ethics Pledge:”
Ethics Pledge: This executive order which required every appointee in the executive branch to sign an ethics pledge to prevent conflicts of interest.
Furthering racism, Biden required feedback from OMB and other agencies as to “how the regulatory review process can promote public health and safety, economic growth, social welfare, racial justice, environmental stewardship, human dignity, equity, and the interests of future generations.”
To continue the Covid tyranny, Biden forced mask wearing on all federal employees, federal contractors, and anyone who walked on federal land, including national forests. I find this one especially disgusting, Orwellian, and just plain half-witted because our precious Boston Terrier, Misty, and I have been hiking around the Black Hills National Forest for eight years (when the snow is gone). I never put a mask on Misty nor myself.
Misty, age 13, at Christmas, 2024. Biden rejoined the World Health Organization, after Trump 45 cancelled America’s membership. We were the biggest funder of WHO and they did nothing to alleviate the Covid pandemic.
Biden continuing to distribute tax dollars under the guise that the Covid pandemic still existed when it was virtually over by January 2021. The EO read “coordinating the Federal Government’s efforts to produce, supply, and distribute personal protective equipment, vaccines, tests, and other supplies for the Nation’s COVID-19 response.” None of this equipment was needed at the time Demented Biden signed this EO.
The Biden Regime put America back into the Paris Climate Accords, canceled oil & gas drilling permits. This began the process of raising gas prices and kick starting inflation.
Not Another Brick In The Wall: The Biden Regime terminated President Trump’s national emergency declaration and diverted money for construction of a wall along the southern border to various Woke projects. This money was needed to import, feed, shelter, etc. Biden’s “newcomers.”
Trump 45 had tried so hard to vet foreign nationals before allowing them to enter our country, trying to prevent Jihadists from creating another 911. Biden decreased or cancelled vetting of foreign nationals entering the USA and invited those from terrorist-promoting countries to enter.
Biden decreased the categories of illegals who were considered deportation priorities and resumed sending federal grants to “sanctuary jurisdictions.”
Biden revoked Trump 45’s actions that excluded illegal aliens from the census and apportionment of congressional representatives. Democrats want illegals counted so that Democrats will own more congressional districts. This is part of their replacement plans.
Biden directed the secretary of homeland security (Mayorkas) and the attorney general (Garland) to take all steps “to preserve and fortify DACA,” thus keeping more illegals in America.
Student Loans: Biden issued a statement confirming that “the Acting Secretary of Education will extend the pause on federal student loan payments and collections and keep the interest rate at 0%.” The statement did not set a termination date for the forbearance.
Depending on how one counts them, Trump has apparently signed at least 200 executive orders. The repair work is massive.
There was no need to ever put a mask on in a national forest!! Remember there also was a federal law you had to wear a mask on planes, trains, automobiles(taxis, Uber, etc.). One spring day in 2022 the law was struck down by a judge and effective immediately, you could take off your mask, and there were wild celebrations that broke out in mid-air!! The Dems tried to get it restored but failed. Today, COVID is more cold-like than it ever used to be in 2020 and early 2021 when it was at record highs but that was the last time it would ever be at record levels. After the winter of 2021, it never hit record levels again!! Now, it's ALL normal life!!
