Sonia Is The Dumbest Justice On US Supreme Court, Is She Also The Most Corrupt?

As the Marxist Left ramps up their 30+ year persecution of one of the most brilliant justices in the modern era, Clarence Thomas (a brilliant black conservative destroys the myth that black Americans are helpless without the Democrat Party), they ignore the evidence of corruption by the dumbest justice, Sonia Sotomayor.

SOTOMAYOR RULED ON TWO COPYRIGHT CASES INVOLVING HER PUBLISHER

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor failed to recuse herself from two cases involving Penguin Random House, the book publisher that has paid her more than $3 million since 2010, according to a New York Post report.

The copyright infringement cases, in which her publisher faced significant financial damage from unfavorable rulings by the high court, were not taken up by the Supreme Court. However, all justices did vote on whether to hear these matters, including Justice Sotomayor.

Meanwhile, the Barack Obama-appointed justice raked in $3.6 million from Penguin and its subsidiaries who published Sotomayor’s 2013 memoir titled "My Beloved World" and various children's books.  In the same year her memoir came out, Sotomayor cast a vote on whether the high court should take up Aaron Greenspan v. Random House.  Another Liberal justice, Stephen Breyer, recused himself because he reported that he had received money from Penguin.

In 2020, Sotomayor played a role in deciding on a case from a fellow children's author named Jennie Nicassio.  It was the author's contention that Penguin Random House was selling a book nearly identical to one she had written. Again, Breyer recused himself but Sotomayor did not, and the court ultimately declined to take up the matter. Indeed, on the very day the case arrived in her office, Penguin Random House cut Sotomayor a check for $10,586.  When the court refused to take up these two copyright cases, the lower court rulings IN FAVOR OF SOTOMAYOR’S publisher remained intact.

Financial disclosure forms for 2010 and 2012 show that Sotomayor received $3.1 million from the publishing conglomerate.  Disclosure forms for 2017 through 2021 show that she received an additional $500,000 in book royalties and advances from Penguin Random House.

WITHOUT AFFIRMATIVE ACTION SOTOMAYOR WOULD BE WASHING DISHES IN A RESTAURANT

US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor has called herself an “affirmative action baby.”  According to her, if she had gone through the “traditional numbers route” of Princeton and Yale Law, she said “it would have been highly questionable if I would have been accepted  .  .  .  my test scores were not comparable to that of my classmates.”

What she lacks in brains Sotomayor makes up for in Marxist zeal.  In a 2001 speech she rejected the notion advanced by Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sandra Day O’Connor that, in deciding cases, a wise old man and a wise old woman would reach the same conclusion: “I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.”

Lived that life? Why are “the richness of HER experiences” superior to anyone else’s rich experiences?  The Rule of Law is supposed to be color blind.  Regardless the skin hue of the plaintiff, the defendant, the prosecutor, the victim, the jurors, a REAL judge bases his/her decisions on objective facts and the law.  Sotomayor is not a judge.  She is an ideologue and a political activist.  THAT is why President Obama chose her for the US Supreme Court.  Her entire career, she has used her positions on the bench to push the Marxist agenda.

PROMOTING AVOWED MARXIST FOR DISTRICT ATTORNEY

Self-described Marxist Chesa Boudin was sworn in as San Francisco district attorney in January 2020* at a ceremony celebrating Boudin’s terrorist-linked background.  During his campaign, he pledged to make immediate reforms to protect gang members and illegal aliens, to the degradation and detriment of law-abiding Americans.

THAT is scary enough, but the biggest threat to the Rule of Law is Boudin’s support from a member of the US Supreme Court, Sonia Sotomayor.  His swearing-in ceremony included a prerecorded video in which Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor congratulated Boudin and compared his path to her own:

“Your personal strength and commitment to reforming and improving the criminal justice system is a testament to the person you are and the role model you will continue to be for so many.”

RULE OF MAN:  IT IS ALL ABOUT FEELINGS, NOT THE LAW

Justice Sotomayor went on to kiss Chesa’s feet:

“The difficulties you faced as a child, including that you did not read until age 9, are common among children of prisoners.** You have lived the stigma of anger, shame and guilt that so many such children in the criminal justice system experience. … Chesa, you have undertaken a remarkable challenge today. I hope you reflect as a great beacon to many, and the road to accomplishing what you have set out to do will be daunting.”

“Nevertheless, the city of San Francisco will be so very well served by a man whose life creed is believing, as you told me: ‘We are all safer when we uplift victims, hold everyone accountable for their actions, and do so with empathy and compassion.’”

RULE OF MAN: WHERE DOES THE RULE OF LAW FIT INTO SOTOMAYOR’S “EMPATHY & COMPASSION?”

The role of every judge is to interpret the law AS WRITTEN and apply it to the OBJECTIVE facts at hand, NOT to empathize with one side or the other.  Her remarks raise all kinds of questions: 1) Does she believe felons with children should not go to prison?  2) What is her definition of “victim?”  3) If someone labels the law-breaker as a “victim” does Sotomayor believe they do not have to obey the laws?  4) Should a murderer, under Sotomayor’s ideology, be released and not prosecuted because he had a “bad” childhood?

Boudin was kicked out of the DA’s office less than two & half years into his tenure because his do-not-prosecute policies gave gangs, rapists, murderers and common criminals ownership of the streets. Did her love for Boudin mean, if one of the criminal cases from his former DA’s office* reached the US Supreme Court, she will automatically rule in his favor?  After all, it is not Boudin’s fault that his parents chose to kill cops when he was 14 months old instead of raising him.

IS SOTOMAYOR THE FIRST JUSTICE EVER TO SUPPORT MARXIST THUGS?

As The Left continues to replace the Rule of Law with the Rule of Man (AKA the Rule of the Ruling Elite), keep in mind “The Man” will be dictators like Boudin’s former employer, Dictator Hugo Chavez, the Marxist who turned Venezuela from the richest country in South America to a totalitarian hellhole. And America has a Supreme Court justice who LOVES Marxist thugs.

*DA Boudin was recalled in June 2022 by a broad ten-point margin due to his refusal to prosecute murderers, gang members, BLM/Antifa rioters, et al.
