REPARATIONS: ARE YOU “BLACK” ENOUGH TO GET MONEY?
Only 388,000 Slaves Arrived On Our Shores
Now that Evanston, Illinois has issued the first 16 reparations checks via a racist program to force their taxpayers to cough up $25,000 to 140 of their neighbors, it is time to revisit the racial pandering Americans heard during the 2020 democrat primary and are likely to hear again during the 2024 election.
In their zeal to pander to “black” and guilty “white” voters, some* Democrat candidates for president in 2020 screeched for REPARATIONS from the campaign trail, including Joe Biden. We are likely to be subjected to this hatred and pandering during the 2024 election, as well. If CA Governor Gavin Newsom enters the race it will be entertaining to watch Biden and he out-pander each other.
In 2020 19% of black men and 10% of black women voted for President Trump. That was a significant increase from the 8% he received in 2016 which was the highest since the 1950s when virtually every African American voter was a registered Republican.** Democrats have good reason to fear that even more blacks will escape the Democrat poverty plantation in 2024.
REPARATIONS WILL REQUIRE EACH PERSON WHO WANTS $$$ TO SUBMIT TO A DNA TEST
To implement a reparations program, the federal government cannot take the applicant’s word that he/she is descended from slaves. DNA tests will be mandatory. If not, there will be a whole lot of “cultural appropriation.”^ And Democrats just hate “cultural appropriation,” or so they claim.
When Elizabeth Warren’s career was stalling, she realized that she would have more luck if she “became” a Native American. It worked beautifully. Harvard School of Law bragged about hiring the first Native American woman as a professor in its history, filling a quota.
DNA tests tell a lot about a person’s genetic background, even the region where one’s long ago ancestors resided. Black slaves came almost exclusively from Western Africa where one (black) tribe would round of people from another (black) tribe and sell them into slavery. The USA outlawed the slave trade in 1807, preventing any additional slaves from being shipped here.
ONLY 388,000 SLAVES WERE SHIPPED TO NORTH AMERICA
Black slave traders would hold their hapless victims until slave ships arrived offshore. Some slaves were destined for North America, and some were shipped to South America. Records show that only 388,000 slaves arrived in North America, or about 3.6% of the total slave trade between 1619 and 1807. Millions went to South America and the Caribbean Islands.
Those slaves who arrived in what would later become the United State of America were the “lucky ones” because they would live long enough to reproduce, and even grow old. Thus, many slave descendants currently reside in the USA. Those slaves who wound up in the mines in South America had an average life expectancy of five years. Moreover, only men were purchased so reproduction of slaves was rare.
THE “BLACKER” YOU ARE, THE MORE MONEY YOU WILL GET?
The descendants of slave owners will not be punished, but all American taxpayers surely will be. There is virtually no “black” person who descended from slaves living in America today who has 100% negro blood. They have other blood: “white,” Native American, Asian, etc. A “black” American who can prove 1/8th slave blood will be jealous of the ones who have 1/4th slave blood because he/she will receive half as much money. And so it goes.
During her brief presidential race, Kalama Harris demanded reparations from federal taxpayers. Will Kamala get any money? After all, her father is “black.” Should she receive 50% of the amount that a 100% “black” person would get? Nope! Her father immigrated to the USA 100+ years after the first GOP president, Abraham Lincoln, outlawed slavery. Perhaps Kackling Kammie should pay reparations because her father descended from slave owners.
“WHITE” AMERICANS GAVE THEIR LIVES TO FREE THE SLAVES
“White” Americans who can prove they had an ancestor who fought for the Union, should not be required to subsidize this racist thievery. Indeed, we are entitled to tax cuts.
As cruel, immoral & disgusting as slavery was, the “white” Americans alive during the Civil War, corrected this wrong. Indeed, 99% of Union soldiers were “white.” Shouldn’t their descendants get reparations, too? The descendants’ list would be a relatively short one because many, many young Union soldiers died on the battlefield before they could reproduce.
At the very least, “white” Americans, like this writer, who can prove they had an ancestor who fought for the Union, should either receive reparations or a significant tax cut. My paternal grandmother’s maternal grandfather was wounded in the Battle of Stones River (12/31/1862 to 1/2/1863) near Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I DEMAND REPARATIONS OR A HUGE TAX CUT!
REPARATIONS: PROMISES, PROMISES, DEMS HAVE BEEN LYING TO BLACKS FOR DECADES
This American has the notion that fewer “black” Americans will believe these reparations promises than they might have 30 years ago. Why? “Blacks,” especially the better-educated ones, gave up on Democrats doing anything for them some years ago. Democrats only give them handouts & lip service while destroying the black family.
President Obama intentionally increased racial tensions in the United States. With that head start in mind, Democrats now want to start a race war by pushing the notion that “white” Americans owe “black” Americans money.
REPARATIONS: DEMOCRATS ARE GETTING DESPERATE
As more & more Americans turn away from Liberal/Progressive policies due to their abject failures, Democrats are employing ever more dishonest strategies to win elections. As they proved by rigging the 2020 presidential election, they are more interested in winning elections than about the harm their policies do, including the harm of talking about and handing out money, calling it deserved reparations.
Whites are a bit stupid.
