Remember When Dems Demanded Trump Have A Cognitive Exam?

Let's Tip Toe Down Memory Lane

Starting less than a month after Donald J. Trump was sworn into office, deranged political hacks in Big Media, election deniers and various other haters of democracy were insisting that our new president was mentally ill and/or cognitively impaired. The 25th Amendment was mentioned often. Calling their bluff, during his first physical exam President Trump asked to take a cognitive test even though he had no symptoms. Then, he had the White House physician hold a press conference and answer EVERY SINGLE QUESTION the corrupt media put forth. Click here to watch the entire January 2018 press conference. Following is the article I wrote about this event:

THE PRESIDENT IS MENTALLY & PHYSICALLY "EXTREMELY HEALTHY"

The White House doctor, Ronny Jackson,* joined Sarah Huckabee Sanders at today’s press conference.  He outlined the tests that were performed on President Trump, and his conclusions based upon those tests and his observations.

Everything about President Trump's four-plus hours physical examination is normal, normal, normal.  Cognitive assessment exam is normal.  THAT MEANS TRUMP'S BRAIN AND THINKING PROCESS IS NORMAL, NORMAL, NORMAL. Trump also showed "above average" during his exercise test.  "The president is currently very healthy and he will remain so throughout his presidency."  "His cardiac health is excellent."  "He has a lot of energy, a lot of stamina.  I was really surprised," according to Dr. Jackson.  "He has incredibly good genes."  "He is very healthy."

DR. JACKSON MOLLY WHOPPED THE ANTI-TRUMP PRESS

Dr. Jackson took questions from the press, many of whom are Anti-Trumpers.  As expected, several faux journalists asked questions about Trump’s mental health, again and again and again.  The second & third & fourth questions from the press involved Trump's mental stability.  Dr. Jackson "has no concerns," and only added the cognitive test because Trump requested it.

Not happy with this answer, the press then asked if Trump has dementia or Alzheimer's.  Dr. Jackson said Trump had a perfect score on the cognitive test, so our president has no mental problems!  "He is very mentally fit!"  Of course, the biased press just had to bring up the Twenty-Fifth Amendment (see below).  Dr. Jackson said "if he had any concerns about Trump's mental abilities, he would bring that up to his Chief of Staff."

The press kept returning to the mental stability narrative again and again.  And Dr. Jackson insisted that the perfect score "30 out of 30" proves that Trump has no mental or psychological impairment.  A perfect score on the Montreal Cognitive test rules out the need for any further cognitive tests, according to Dr. Jackson.

Getting desperate, one media hack asked if Trump was a drug addict.  Ha!  We all know that drug addicts don't live to age 71 and they certainly do not become billionaires and president.

AMERICANS HIRED TRUMP “AS IS”

Knowing that Donald J. Trump had warts (after all the Media and Dems exposed all of them before the election), the American people hired him “as is” over, arguably, the most corrupt person to ever seek the office.^  Maybe the Dems should pick a candidate with ethics and honesty next time.

Is President Trump unorthodox compared to other modern-day presidents?  Yes.  Do Trump’s methods and personality make him unfit to be president?  Nope!  He is doing pretty much what he was elected to do.  Almost a year into his presidency he has accomplished more to benefit Americans & America than any president in modern history, including a massive tax cut for the lower & middle classes.  This is mind-boggling.  Could a crazy person do that?  Nope!  Could a nutcase become a billionaire?  Not possible.

Moreover, previous presidents have suffered from mental or psychological problems but many, especially Democrats, would say that their presidencies were successful.

Abraham Lincoln (R), the Great Emancipator who successfully shepherded the eighty-year-old United States through the Civil War (1861-1865), suffered from life-long bouts of deep depression (melancholy), some lasting weeks, some during his presidency.

In 1919, Woodrow Wilson (D), the darling of the progressive movement, had a severe stroke while in office.  This stroke left him 90% blind and paralyzed on his left side, so he was unable to handle the great majority of his presidential duties.  Edith, his wife, selected matters for his attention and delegated others to his cabinet; thereby acquiring the name “America’s first woman president."  Eighteen months later his second term ended.

The Left is still drooling over Democrat President Lyndon B. Johnson (1963-1969).  Full of hubris and power-mad, he got us into the Vietnam War through subterfuge.  As the body bags started piling up, he then developed severe depression that lasted for months.  This is the main reason LBJ did not run for a second term.

Bill Clinton (Democrat: 1993-2001) suffered from such an uncontrollable sexual appetite that he has been a sexual predator his entire adult life.  The American Psychiatric Association identifies this as a significant personality disorder.  And yet, stain-on-the-blue-dress Bill has been the hero of Democrats for 25 years.

WOULD A MENTALLY ILL DIAGNOSIS TRIGGER AMENDMENT TWENTY-FIVE**?

Last spring, just weeks into Trump’s presidency, 25 desperate Democrats^^ in the House (with mental health problems of their own) sponsored  Bill HR 1987 “Oversight Commission on Presidential Capacity Act.”  If passed, it would establish a medical committee of eleven members to investigate President Trump’s physical and mental fitness to serve.  You can be sure the this “commission” would include at least six Trump-haters.

This scheme has law professors rolling in the aisles with laughter: First, the delusional Dems would need to get a two-thirds vote in both houses, but the GOP controls both houses.  Secondly, they would also need V.P. Mike Pence's cooperation.  (If Trump is out, Queen Hillary would not become president. Pence would.)

Pence would finish Trump’s term and it would give Pence a huge leg up in 2020 to be elected president . . . .

Are these Democrat Congresspeople really so stupid?  Maybe yes, maybe no.  Even though this scheme could never succeed, it would help to keep this false narrative about Trump alive with the public.

*Trump’s official doctor is Ronny L. Jackson, a Navy rear admiral who handled emergency medicine for a shock trauma platoon in Taqaddum, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom.   Jackson also provided care for Obama.  He became a White House physician in 2006 and has overseen health care for the Cabinet and senior staff, served as physician supervisor for the Camp David presidential retreat and led the White House Medical Unit.
