Presidential Debates: Will Harris Show Up?

For generations, presidential candidates have debated each other on nationwide television and radio. If the candidates are honest, such debates give voters an opportunity to hear what the candidates plan to do with the power of the presidency. If Democrat Kamala Harris shows up, which Kamala Harris will we see? The rabid Marxist she was raised to be, or the lying “moderate?”

Election year 1960 saw the first such televised debates when Richard M. Nixon and John F. Kennedy faced moderators four times. It wasn’t until 1976 when debates became a standard and expected part of each election year. Beginning in 1980, and including 2020 when Democrat Joe Biden did not campaign, every election year the presidential candidates participated in two or three debates. Democrat Kamala Harris has, thus far, agreed to only one debate.

During his August 8th press conference at Mar-A-Lago, Donald J. Trump announced that he had made arrangements to participate in three presidential debates with three different networks.

“We have spoken to the heads of the network and it’s all been confirmed other than some very minor details,” including whether the Harris campaign agrees to any of those dates, Trump said. “I look forward to the debates because I think we have to set the record straight,” he continued.

September 4th with Fox News Network.

September 10th with ABC.

September 25th with NBC.

Note: ABC and NBC have expressed obvious & continuous hatred for Trump for the last nine years, going so far as to report lies as “news” in order to hurt him. While Fox is more balanced in its news coverage, the ownership and management are not Trump fans.

HARRIS IS AFRAID TO DEBATE TRUMP

On August 15th, Kamala Harris belatedly issued a written statement agreeing to the September 10th debate. Period! Her handlers know she has trouble speaking coherently without a written script in a teleprompter and, knowing full well that the corrupt Democrat judge in Manhattan may put Trump in jail or home confinement at the September 28th sentencing hearing, her statement reads “in October” with no specific date nor network mentioned for the second debate.
