PORTLAND: ANTIFA THUG THREATENS JURY IN OPEN COURT, JUDGE YAWNS

Andy Ngo Is Denied Justice In Terrorist County

During closing statements, the defense lawyer^ for one of the Antifa terrorists, Michelle Burrows, 59, told the jurors she "will remember each one of their faces."  This, to a jury that had already told the judge that they were being doxed and threatened by Antifa, was an obvious threat.  She loudly declared, "I am Antifa" and told the jury that she was making herself an "I am Antifa T-shirt” which she plans to wear after the trial. Despite Antifa's 16-year-long history of violence in Portland, she told the jury that Antifa brutes were merely activists fighting for social justice and civil rights.

In defense of Antifa, Burrows said, "Resistance in this country has never been peaceful."  [Say what?  Resistance against what?  This writer lived in the Portland area during the birth of Antifa and watched it grow ever more violent, until December 2020 when we escaped.  Never, that entire 13 years, did they explain WHAT they were “resisting.”]  However, as she argued before the jurors, Ms. Burrows admitted that the "black clad people" that had physically beaten Ngo were, in fact, "terrorists." Burrows then announced that this would be her last trial because she was retiring. 

An ethical judge^^ would have stopped the trial right then & there, had Burrows arrested for contempt and queried each juror about whether he/she is afraid of Antifa, and whether he/she could do his/her duty and return a verdict based solely upon the evidence and testimony.  If they answered “no” an ethical judge would have declared a mistrial and excused the jury.^^^

NO JUSTICE FOR ANDY IN “SOCIAL JUSTICE” COUNTY

Andy Ngo, Senior Editor for Post Millennial and the gay son of Vietnamese refugees, was beaten to a pulp twice by BLM/Antifa thugs, on videotape, and no one was arrested.  Indeed, there was no investigation because the Soros-funded Multnomah County district attorney ordered police not to bother.  Ngo eventually filed a civil suit against six of the Antifa thugs that stalked him and organized the beatings.  Only two of the terrorists contested his suit and their trial began earlier this month: Defendants John Colin Hacker* and Elizabeth Renee Richter.** 

May 7, 2019: John Hacker admitted splashing an undisclosed liquid onto Ngo at a local gym, and then forcibly taking Andy's phone. When Hacker refused to release the phone, gym employees interfered and returned the phone to Ngo. Gym management later terminated Hacker's gym membership.

June 29, 2019: Ngo was brutally attacked by 10-12 masked members of the domestic terrorist group called Antifa, and received a brain bleed.

Hacker and Richter, work as Antifa's "doxxers."  After identifying him, they led other thugs to a series of physical beatings of Ngo on May 28, 2021.

May 28, 2021: Hacker took part in actions that led to Ngo being beaten by an Antifa mob. On that day, Ngo was monitoring Antifa attacks on the Portland Justice Center and the Portland police central precinct when Hacker approached him. The Antifa mob then yelled, "That's Andy! Get him! Get him!" Hacker testified that he approached Ngo and identified him to terrorists.

Ngo survived one street beating, which was captured on security tape. He was able to flee and ended up at The Nines Hotel several blocks away. Defendant Richter pursued Ngo into the hotel before being ejected by hotel officials.

From outside the hotel Richter is seen on video screaming to Andy, "I can't wait for you to come out, Andy!"  Richter live streamed and broadcasted video of Andy Ngo in the hotel as he was being brutally beaten by her fellow Antifa thugs.  She was describing Ngo’s location inside the hotel, and verbally encouraging more assaults on Ngo.

Ngo filed a complaint in Multnomah County Court in Portland, Oregon in June 2020, claiming assault and other injuries regarding violence carried out by members of Antifa in 2019.  He later had to amend his complaint because the defendants assaulted him again in 2021.  His complaint claimed damages for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.  The case was argued before a civil jury for more than a week in downtown Portland, just steps away from where Ngo was beaten multiple times.

Before the trial, three Antifa respondents were found "in default," and will be held liable for damages.  The defaulted respondents are Corbyn Katherine Belyea, Madison Lee Allen, and Joseph Christian Evans.**

Ngo reached a settlement with one respondent, Benjamin Patrick Bolen, on July 16, 2023, so Bolen did not attend the jury trial.  The details of that settlement are not public. On July 14, 2023, Rose City Antifa was dismissed from the lawsuit by a Portland judge on grounds that Rose City Antifa is "not a discrete entity under common law" and therefore cannot be sued nor served.  In other words, unlike BLM, Inc., this huge group of terrorists are not incorporated.

Tuesday of last week the terrified jury reached a verdict in the trial, finding defendants John Colin Hacker and Elizabeth Renee Richter “not liable” for the injuries they helped inflict on Andy Ngo, despite massive evidence to the contrary.  The evidence included numerous Twitter communications between Hacker and Richter as they stalked, doxed and organized the beatings of Ngo.

^^Who needs an ethical judge? The only thing that matters is the judge’s skin color and how the judge “identifies.” This writer practiced law in that courthouse for 34 years and watched as the Rule of Law was dying & being replaced with the “social justice” notion that some people are above the law.

^^^We need to keep in mind that 90% of Portland voters are Democrats who promoted & cheered on five months of Antifa/BLM terrorism in 2020. 

*Hacker was severely burnt when his General Motors truck hit a guard rail and burst into flames in 2003.  His huge settlement with GM ensures that he does not have to work for a living; therefore, he spends his time as an Antifa thug terrorizing his neighbors.

**While defendants Hacker and Richter were found "not liable" by the jury, Ngo's complaint included four other Antifa members, three of whom were found in default.  Their damages will be decided by Judge Chanpone Sinapalasi at a later date.  The three defaulted defendants likely ignored Ngo’s lawsuit against them because they have no assets that could be attached by a judgment.  That is, they do not work so there are no wages or bank accounts to be attached, and they don’t have equity in a house or car to be subject to a forced sale to satisfy Ngo’s judgment.
