Pete's Dog Has Bodyguards

Little Pete preens for the Vogue cameras in 2019. He was the mayor of South Bend, IN then and the media turned him into a national figure much like they did for Illinois State Senator Barack Obama over two decades ago.

As the Titanic is sinking, Americans can always count on little Pete Buttigieg, Biden’s Secretary of Transportation, to provide us with a chuckle. He went on MSNBC’s Inside With Jen Psaki on Sunday. The Biden Regime rearranges the deck chairs while passengers are drowning, but Pete talks about how safe it is in Washington DC. “I can safely walk my dog to the capital. I did it last night. No problem. It wasn’t like this when we first arrived.” He failed to mention that several Secret Service agents with guns and serious looks on their faces accompany him wherever he goes, with or without his dog.

VICTIMS DON’T COUNT

I doubt these two crime victims would agree with Mayor Pete, the man who ruined the transportation system in South Bend, Indiana: Just hours after Pete proclaimed DC to be safe, two men were walking their dog around DC without bodyguards. They were approached by six teens dressed in all black, wearing ski masks and hoods. The teens demanded their property before jumping the men. One victim was stabbed in the back when he tried to defend himself. The second victim was punched in the face and had his phone & wallet forcibly taken. 

Pete’s neighbors, those without bodyguards of course, don’t agree with him.

And what Democrat interview would be complete without blaming something on Republicans or Trump, or just plain lying? Pete implied that DC was more dangerous during the Trump years. Another lie. The homicide rate has risen dramatically since Trump left office. Carjacking was relatively minimal when Trump was in the White House. Now, it happens weekly.

Pete also failed to mention that DC is completely controlled by Democrats and has been since 1964. The current mayor, Muriel Bowser, was held that seat since 2015. Obviously, she has no interest in reducing crime nor in protecting her residents. She, too, has bodyguards everywhere she goes.
