Yup. Except I don't get entertained, I get sick when I realize that these people get to vote. I have a close relative who's planning a move to Canada in order to escape the coming Trump dictatorship; unfortunately, after moving, this person will still be voting in our elections. Happy New Year.

Sadly, one of my grown children was one of those who said I was not allowed to see my grandson because he was immune-compromised and I refused to get the jab. I can't really find too much humor in a lot of what has been happening. As it turns out, my child and grandson are the ones who are constantly ill -- they've all had the jabs and boosters -- yet, sickness abounds in their home. :( Not funny. That child calls once in a while and always asks if I am sick. I am NOT.

Then, there are my former classmates (we're in our 70s) who continually post diatribes and memes on Trump that are absurdly hyperbolic. He's a NAZI, etc., etc. and on it goes. It is tiring. Not funny. Especially because there are so many other honestly important issues going on in this Country. The invasion -- the takeover of cities by Muslims who are not assimilating, but are growing their families to take over America from within. The Mosques being built all across the Country. NONE OF THAT HUMOROUS. :(

The amusement comes mostly with things like the newly breaking story of Gov Walz Somali debacle uncovered by Nick Shirley and his pal. All the misused MILLIONS OF DOLLARS aren't funny, but the fact that SO MANY people dismiss it, is pretty funny. The fact that so many Democrats are crying the blues because money will be "CUT" from those programs for the poor children. . . That does seem humorous because clearly you could say exactly what "Bagdad Bob" said -- Nothing to see here. . .. "don't believe your lying eyes." That they can look you in the eye and lie with every word is laughable.

I am hoping that is 2026 "We the People" will rise up and that there will be MONEY CUT FOR ALL THESE FRAUDULENT PROGRAMS. I live in Idaho and our legislature will ramp up in a few days -- the first thing that's being proposed is a HALT to funding for Day Care Providers UNTIL it is established that they are legit.

I agree with David Ziffer, it is sickening. BUT, HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL.

Here's to a BETTER YEAR IN 2026!
