New York’s corrupt attorney general, Letitia James, has been all over television these last few days, strutting and braying that, after seven years of scheming, she finally “Got Trump.” Five days after President Trump was sworn in, this Democrat Jackass stood outside screaming that our brand new president was “too male, too pale” during a campaign screech.* She repeated this racist screed again & again until she was elected.
In 2019, the US Supreme Court ruled that excessive fines violate both the 8th and the 14th Amendments. James knows this. James is now scurrying to steal Trump’s real estate and sell it at below market price before his case works its way up to the highest court in the land. My friend, Professor Steve Putney, first pointed out to me, during a recent podcast, that the corrupt judge violated the 8th Amendment when he fined Trump $355 million for a fraud he did not commit, that had no victims, and that had no complaining party other than Letitia James.
Amendment VIII is very short and very easy to read. Even a black woman can understand:
“Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.”
In Timbs v Indiana, all nine Supreme Court Justices ruled in favor of Tyson Timbs after the State of Indiana had confiscated his automobile, finding that this was excessive punishment. Ruth Bader-Ginsburg wrote the opinion:
“The Eighth Amendment that prohibits ‘cruel and excessive punishment’ and ‘excessive bail’ protects against excessive fines and guards against abuses of government’s punitive or criminal-law-enforcement authority. This safeguard is ‘fundamental to our scheme of ordered liberty’ with deep roots in this Nation’s history and tradition. Thus, the Excessive Fine Clause in the Eighth Amendment is incorporated into the Fourteenth Amendment’s Due Process Clause.”
SOVIET-STYLE PERSECUTION
Letitia James has followed the model first espoused by Stalin’s ruthless secret police chief, Lavrentiy Beria: “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.” Beria served as deputy premier from 1941 until Stalin’s death in 1953, supervising the expansion of the gulags and other secret detention facilities for political prisoners. Like Beria, James targeted “the man” first, then proceeded to find or fabricate a crime. James followed Beria’s modus operandi, that is, to presume Trump guilty, and fill in the blanks later. However, the 5th, 6th, and 14th Amendments of the United States Constitution, as set forth in Coffin vs. U.S. (1895), presumes a defendant to be innocence, until proven guilty.
The corrupt judge in Trump’s case ruled him guilty of fraud without a trial, without a jury and without allowing Trump’s attorney to present documents in his defense. It will be reversed on appeal.
White men voted for her for the simple reason that their empathetic, easily-offended, white whine ladies of their acquaintance told them to.
Show me Letitia and I will show you a bigot and a racist. There’s more but you already know!
