News Alert: Kerry Found Purple Hearts He Threw Away 50 Years Ago

Biden’s Climate Czar, Obama’s Secretary of State and Faux Vietnam War Hero John Forbes Kerry was spotted along with his Ketchup heiress wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, at the coronation ceremony for King Charles III in London last week. No doubt they flew there in their carbon-spewing private plane.  So, what is wrong with Kerry attending the coronation?  Nothing, except HE WAS WEARING THE THREE PURPLE HEARTS HE CEREMONIOUSLY THREW AWAY AT A VIETNAM WAR PROTEST IN 1971. A con man his whole adult life, Biden picked the perfect man to fly around the world in his private jet, promoting the Climate Change Hoax.

KERRY EXAGGERATED MILITARY SERVICE WHEN RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT

When Democrat Kerry was running for president against President George W. Bush in 2004, he made a BIG spectacle of his FOUR MONTHS in Vietnam during his Naval service.  He marched onto the stage at the Democrat National Convention like a soldier, saluted and declared that he was “reporting for duty.”  During the Vietnam War, a serviceman* could request to be sent home short of his full tour of duty in Vietnam IF he received three Purple Hearts.  After decades of watching Viet Vets in wheelchairs, missing limbs, blind and scarred it is hard for this American to wrap my head around how ANY vet can have three Purple Hearts and no scars.  Let us examine how Kerry obtained THREE purple heart awards in FOUR months and did not spend any time in the hospital.

Before graduating from Yale in 1966 Kerry, age 23, wrote to his local draft board requesting an additional 12-month deferment so that he could go to Paris. Paris? He was an arrogant SOB even BEFORE he got into politics.  When the draft board refused, he enlisted in the Navy for the standard four-year term. His enlistment was deferred FIVE YEARS, which was unheard of during the Vietnam War. He could only have avoided the draft for five years by calling on people in high places to help him.  Kerry then spent six months aboard a support ship for aircraft carriers, off the shores of Vietnam, far from combat.  Kerry returned to Vietnam in December 1968 to command a five-man crew in a Swift Boat in the Mekong Delta.

KERRY USED NAVY TO JUMP START HIS POLITICAL CAREER

During the next four months Kerry personally applied for three Purple Hearts.  Applications for Purple Hearts are usually handled by the injured man’s commander.  Kerry spent no time in the hospital.  It is unclear whether he even received stitches for two of his “wounds.”

Within days of his arrival in Vietnam, Kerry claimed to have received shrapnel in his arm during a firefight, although his medical records do not reflect it.  His commander denied approval for the Purple Heart since Kerry and his crew had not experienced fighting that day.  Sometime later his commander was shocked to discover that Kerry had received a Purple Heart for this “injury.”

Kerry’s second Purple Heart was received due to shrapnel removed from his thigh.  Kerry and his crew had been in a firefight.  This wound took Kerry off duty for two days. 

Six days later Kerry jumped into the water to kill a wounded Viet Cong soldier.  This incident left Kerry with a scratch on his arm, a third Purple Heart, a Bronze Star for Valor and an excuse to leave Vietnam.  Under Navy rules a thrice-wounded sailor can ask to be returned home immediately.  Kerry’s combat experience lasted barely four months, from December 1968 to April 1969, when his tour of duty had been scheduled to last a year.

Stateside, Kerry asked for and received an assignment as personal aide to an admiral.  Several months later Kerry’s duties were modified.  He became the personal aide to a civilian, who was traveling around giving anti-war speeches.  Nine months after leaving Vietnam, Kerry asked for an immediate discharge from the Navy, stating that he wanted to run for Congress.  He received an honorable discharge after three and a half years of service, six months shy of his full enlistment term. On April 22, 1971, in order to future his political career, Kerry committed perjury before Senator Fulbright’s Commission which was investigating the war, giving false testimony against US soldiers, accusing them of war crimes.

“A WAR HERO” RUNS FOR PRESIDENT

When Kerry was running for president, I was writing for the suburban newspaper where we lived. I did a deep dive into his background and watched/listened to many of his campaign speeches. His lies about the Vietnam War were non-stop.  This prompted me to end one of my articles with: “Senator Kerry, you should think again before trying to distort history to gain votes.  You are not the only American who remembers the Vietnam War.”  Seeing him wearing the Purple Hearts he pretended to throw away for political purposes during the anti-Vietnam War Era prompts another observation: “You are not the only American who remembers how you used the anti-war movement to launch your political career.  You are a power-mad hypocrite who sold his soul, assuming you ever had one, to amass political power.  You certainly belong in the Democrat Party.”

*There were no women in combat during the Vietnam War.
