Sanctuary home-owner hedged-in by state-invited, permanently-street-homed, non-taxpayer users of residence resources and generators of blight-by-state-right. Portland socialism at its everyday, mundane, bureaucratic finest (“Hedge, my ass!”)

The Democrats and their NGO pals who control Portland, like most Deep Blue cities and states, spend millions each year “fighting” an endless war against poverty, homelessness and drug abuse.

That homeowners and businesses suffer from the human waste, trash, drug paraphernalia and criminal behavior generated by these homeless encampments is tolerated, if not ignored, by local government bodies that pay only lip service to their taxpaying victims.

These societal issues have expanded without much success despite taxpayers spending more than $30 TRILLION over the past 60 years, while the poverty rate has remained relatively constant at around 11% to 15% of the population.

Poverty and homelessness are lucrative, self-perpetuating government business models that started with LBJ's War on Poverty and now cost taxpayers more than $1.8 TRILLION annually across all levels of government.

Work harder, your Democrat government needs your tax dollars -- but none of your complaints.
