Gold Star Dad To Biden: "Do You Remember Abbey Gate?"
Charged With "Causing Inconvenience Or Discomfort To" Biden
After 50 minutes of Joe Biden’s lies, Gold Star Father, Steven Nikoui, couldn’t stand it any more. The final straw was Biden’s “America is safer today than when I took office.” Nikoui was thinking, “Do you remember that my kid was not safe?” That’s when he stood and shouted his son’s name and asked Biden, “Do you remember Abbey Gate? US Marines?”
Steven Nikoui’s son, US Marine Kareem Nikoui, age 20, was among thirteen US service members and 170 civilians who were killed in an attack by a suicide bomber at Abbey Gate outside Hamid Karzai International Airport as American troops were withdrawing from Kabul, Afghanistan on August 26, 2021.
A Marine sniper had spotted the suicide bomber long before he blew himself up, but his command refused to give him permission to shoot. Biden’s military is more committed to DEI and climate change than to military action.
"Do you remember Abbey Gate? United States Marine Kareem Nikoui, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines,” Nikoui yelled from the US House balcony before surrendering himself to Capitol police who led him out in handcuffs.
KAREEM’S BROTHER COMMITTED SUICIDE
Steve Nikoui, age 51, lost his stepson, Dakota James Howerton, a year after Kareem’s death when he committed suicide at a park they were naming after Kareem. The grieving father said his only goal was to get Biden to acknowledge his son and 12 other service members who were killed during the United States’ withdrawal from Afghanistan. Biden has never acknowledged their deaths, nor has he ever spoken to the families.
Nikoui said he struggled with the decision over whether or not to even attend the speech as a guest of Congressman Brian Mast (R-FL), who had invited him along with four other Gold Star parents. “It was an awkward dynamic,” he says of his attendance at the speech. “I wanted to go, but I also didn’t want to go. And when I was there, seeing the theatrics, the circus … it just got to me.”
Nikoui was charged with a misdemeanor for “crowding, obstructing, or incommoding” during a protest, a charge that carries a fine of up to $500 and 90 days in prison. “Incommoding?” Have your ever heard this word before? Only our worthless politicians could make it illegal to “cause inconvenience or discomfort to” our overlords. Biden needs to feel some of the inconvenience & discomfort he is causing for Americans, especially for Gold Star parents.
BIDEN NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED MILITARY MISTAKE
Nikoui says he has the highest respect for the office of the presidency. But he was deeply offended during the 2022 State of the Union address when Biden brought up Afghanistan and, instead of honoring the sacrifices of the 13 KIA service members, immediately pivoted to talking about his own son, Beau, and climate change.
“I remember I watched for like 56 minutes,” he recalls, his voice cracking a bit with emotion. “And then finally [Biden] brings up Afghanistan. But he never said my kid’s name, you know? I didn’t even need him to say he made a mistake or take blame. I just wanted him to say, ‘The United States will never forget the brave service of Staff Sergeant Taylor Hoover…’ and then go on down the list of the other 12. Just say, ‘We will never forget.’ That’s all he had to do. But he didn’t do that. Instead, he beelined for, ‘My son Beau died of cancer, and that’s why I think the existential threat to our military is the burning of diesel fuel in burning pits. Because I think that’s how Beau got his cancer.’ I just started crying.”
Nikoui’s arrest has shocked people on both sides of the aisle, including Congressman Dean Phillips (D-MN) who ran for president in the Democrat primary. “As a Gold Star Son myself, I can only imagine the pain he has felt since losing his son in Afghanistan,” Phillips posted on X. “No one should interrupt a State of the Union Address, but if Marjorie Taylor Greene wasn’t arrested for her outbursts, why should he [be]?”
BLAMES BIDEN REGIME FOR SON’S DEATH
“They were told to leave 2,500 troops there. 2,000 troops could have manned Bagram and then 500 extra to help. And that was in place in the agreement,” he explained, referencing a withdrawal agreement made by President Trump. “But [Biden] took it to something like 136 troops. If they would have followed Trump’s agreement, my son would be alive.”
“That’s what America doesn’t know,” Nikoui said. “That [Biden] actually didn’t follow the agreement. Even if Biden is the man who I believe killed my kid, for lack of a better phrase, my religion commands me that I have to forgive him,” he says.
Nevertheless, Nikoui would like to see the administration held accountable for serious errors in judgment that left American troops in Afghanistan vulnerable. No matter what happens with his misdemeanor charge, he doesn’t regret speaking up. “I don’t think I disrespected anyone,” he says before taking a deep breath, struggling to speak without breaking down. “I don’t think I dishonored my son.”
If some foreign enemy of ours (think CCP) was intent on quietly undermining the USA to the point where we'd be really susceptible to a military attack, I couldn't imagine a foreign spy in the Oval Office doing more damage than Biden has done. From day one of his presidency when he signed multiple executive orders to open our border, to the his disastrous petroleum industry policies that drained our national emergency oil reserve and have demolished our energy independence, to his insane DEI policies that are filling the ranks of both corporate America and our military with mentally ill and incompetent fools, to his rabid attacks against both police and white people, it is hard for me to imagine how anyone could consider him as anything less than a treasonous enemy agent. And considering that his family business seems to involve selling his loyalties to the highest international bidders, I have no doubt that that is exactly what Joe Biden is.
Joe Biden is the “enemy within.” No American enemy has done more damage and harm to America and its people than Joe Biden. His legacy is that of a one-man wrecking crew. Your restack of David Ziffer’s excellently written and presented article on psychopathic behavior confirmed for me that Joe Biden’s lies and lip service to the survivors of his wrongheaded policy victims is clearly that of a psychopath. His failures with the Covid pandemic, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Iran and Israel have cost hundreds of thousands of lives, but to this psychopathic monster those lives are just bumps along his corrupt path to the political power he wields. It’s difficult to accept that our once great country has fallen into a dystopian American police state controlled by a vicious and vindictive psychopath — but here we are.
