Bob Ferguson Is Obsessed With Trump

Washington State Governor-Elect Bob Ferguson has been obsessed with Donald J. Trump for over eight years now. His Trump Derangement Syndrome has become so acute, he recently announced that his priorities as governor will be fighting Trump 47, not improving life for Americans residing in Washington State.

During his tenure as Attorney General, Ferguson’s legal crusade against the Trump Administration was unprecedented. The sheer volume, 97 lawsuits, is a reflection of Ferguson’s desire to keep using Trump as the boogeyman, so voters don’t blame him for the state’s decline in quality of life. A relentless focus on Trump detracts from addressing the many issues that directly impact Washingtonians.

While AG Ferguson was occupied with federal litigation, for example, the state witnessed historically high numbers of overdose deaths and homelessness. Violent crime soared, while car thefts hit record highs. Ferguson could have played a more active role as AG in curbing such crime, yet he was too fixated on Trump.

CHASING A NON-EXISTENT BOGEYMAN

The governor-elect recently stated that he is “preparing in case President Trump attacks Washingtonians’ core freedoms.” Ha! He perceives Washingtonians as brainwashed idiots. This asinine stance is mere gaslighting that not only diverts attention from pressing state issues, like crime, drug use and homelessness, all of which have increased during Ferguson’s 12 years at attorney general, but also perpetuates a narrative of fear and division. Isn’t an AG’s main duty to decrease crime, not fight a president elected by We The People?

Now, as governor-elect, Ferguson’s establishment of a subcommittee to counter a federal policy initiative that doesn’t exist suggests his TDS has gotten worse. Instead of focusing on state-specific challenges, Ferguson appears intent on positioning himself as the primary antagonist to Trump 47. Like outgoing Governor Jay Inslee, Ferguson is desperate to get the attention of national media and, thus, land on disgraced MSNBC and CNN.

As he transitions into the governor’s office, Ferguson has created a subcommittee to “protect” Washington from Project 2025, the policy proposals Democrats falsely claimed Trump championed. Indeed, Trump has repeatedly said he has not read The Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025. Attorney General-Elect Nick Brown is partnering with Ferguson to sue Trump against a threat that doesn’t exist.

This anti-Trump subcommittee, co-chaired by Planned Parenthood Alliance Advocates CEO Jennifer Allen (because we’re supposed to pretend Trump will ban abortion, which he cannot do) and King County Council member Jorge L. Baron (because Trump vows to deport criminal illegal aliens, which Democrats champion), is tasked with preparing for potential federal actions that Ferguson perceives as threats to the freedoms of criminal aliens, and threats to those who wish to abort a pregnancy even though Washington State has the same abortion law now as it did before Roe v. Wade was overturned in June 2022.

PARTNERING WITH TDS ATTORNEY GENERAL

The incoming Attorney General, Nick Brown, has vowed to continue the anti-Trump, anti-Bill of Rights agenda AG Ferguson started. Indeed, the “wrong speak” hotline, written by Ferguson, that anointed super citizens and gave them special rights will be up and running next year. These super citizens can call the hotline and whine that someone said something they did not like. That person’s name will then be put on a list in the AG’s office. This new statute doesn’t allow the targeted person to prove his innocence, nor provide a way to get off this government list. Our freedoms aren’t going to be restricted by a second term of Donald J. Trump. It’s Washington Democrats who systematically aim to take away our freedoms, they’ve already restricted our Second Amendment rights with gun and “high capacity” magazine bans. And with a new “domestic extremism and mass violence” task force, it’s clear the intent is to demonize political opposition by labeling Christians, Conservatives, Republicans, Trump supporters and other freethinkers as domestic threats.
