He Offered No Help To Ill Residents

This time last year, Joe Biden was so busy escorting foreign nationals into our country and taking care of all their needs, he just did not have time to visit Americans in East Palestine, Ohio after the February 3, 2023 toxic disaster. He wasn’t interested in what Americans needed. The train derailment spilled hazardous materials and toxins into the environment, which forced residents who could afford it, out of their homes. Most of them are too poor to move.

Biden has so little regard for these mostly white, mostly Trump supporting citizens that he has never bothered to explain why & how he has billions of our tax dollars to house 15+ million illegal aliens, but does not have tax dollars to move Americans out of this toxic area to housing in other towns. Indeed, just 3-4 months before this train derailment, our tax dollars were funding thousands of new housing units for Biden’s Guests. Why couldn’t that money have been diverted to help the thousands of Americans who wanted to move out of the toxic cloud?

WELCOME SIGNS: “IMPEACH CROOKED JOE”

Biden arrived in East Palestine on Friday to intense criticism for waiting so long before visiting the Ohio-Pennsylvania border town. “Why did he even bother” asked the residents. Upon his arrival on Friday, he was met with signs that read, "Go home, sleepy Joe," “too little, too late,” “Biden, do the right thing,” “we need clean air,” “Biden, thanks for nothing,” and others requesting he "declare the emergency."

Biden met with local officials, but refused to meet with sick or homeless residents. He praised the town for its "herculean efforts" in the wake of the tragedy and pledged to continue to support residents. "I want them to understand that we're not going home, no matter what, until this job is done and it's not done yet," he said. "There's a lot more to do. The vast majority's been done but we're going to stay until the very end until every need is met." What the hell is he talking about? Virtually nothing has been done.

President Donald Trump toured the area just three weeks after the incident. He was flanked by East Palestine Mayor Trent Conaway and local first responders as he distributed water and supplies. "Unfortunately, as you know, your goodness and perseverance were met with indifference and betrayal in some cases," Trump told residents last February. Earlier he wrote on Truth Social: "Biden should have gone there a long time ago -- for him to go now is an insult to those who live and work in East Palestine."

Local residents heavily criticized Biden for visiting Ukraine before visiting East Palestine, calling it a "slap in the face."

EPA TO RESIDENTS: NOT OUR FAULT

There were no injuries reported from the derailment but 11 of the cars were transporting hazardous materials, including vinyl chloride, ethyl acrylate and isobutylene, some of which are considered to be toxic and possibly carcinogenic. Biden’s EPA claims that residents are not at risk from impacted surface water, soil or air from the derailment. Then why, a year later, are most residents suffering from medical problems caused by these toxins?

EPA Administrator Michael Regan implied, in an interview with ABC News earlier this month, that the federal government did not cause this disaster, so would not fix it. "Let me be clear -- Norfolk Southern is not cleaning up this mess and doing it following their own guidelines," Regan said. "We have layers and layers of protection to ensure that they're cleaning it up to the standards that we request."

"It doesn’t matter if you're Democrat or Republican or independent, what matters is we're all Americans, everyone, everyone," Biden said. "We look out for one another. We leave no one behind and we come back stronger than before. That's what you're doing here."

No one believes him.
