Biden Regime Mimics "1984"
January Jobs Report
As the Biden Regime and the Deep State writes, rewrites and gaslights the horrible jobs report from January, I am reminded of a passage from George Orwell’s book “1984.”
The book’s main character is Winston Smith and readers view his depressing world through his eyes. He works for the Ministry of Truth and his job is, literally, to rewrite everything, bringing it in line with the current & ever-changing Marxist bullshit emanating from Big Brother (NKA Biden Regime), whether it be a document that is a few days old or years old. When a member of the Inner Party falls into disfavor, for example, he is vaporized (executed) & his name is painstakingly removed from all documents & photos, and everyone pretends as though that person never existed. This is exactly the way the Biden Regime gaslights Americans, repeatedly bullying us into pretending what we see & hear & know is not real.
THE MINISTRY OF PLENTY
A key passage from “1984” explains how Democrats deal with facts that contradict their propaganda: “he (Winston Smith) thought as he readjusted the Ministry of Plenty’s figures, it was not even forgery. It was merely the substitution of one piece of nonsense for another. Most of the material you are dealing with had no connection to anything in the real world, not even the kind of connection that is contained in a direct lie.
Statistics were just as much a fantasy in their original version as in their rectified version. For example, the Ministry of Plenty’s forecast had estimated the output of boots for the quarter at a hundred and forty-five million pairs. The actual output was given as sixty-two millions (sic). . . Very likely no boots had been produced at all. . . All one knew was that every quarter astronomical numbers of boots were produced on paper, while perhaps half the population of Oceania went barefoot. And so, it was with every class of recorded fact, great or small. Everything faded away into a shadow-world in which, finally, even the date of the year had become uncertain.”
Americans are becoming increasingly sceptic of anything the Deep State or the Biden Regime says, and with good reason. Indeed, they apparently use “1984” as their playbook.
Yup. Anyone believing anything from any Western government today is a fool.
The "jobs" and "unemployment" reports, regardless of administration, are pretty much always horseshit. The "jobs" report can always be juiced at any time by government disbursing billions into its own agencies, creating counterproductive make-work positions there, or by awarding contracts to private industry, whether useful or not. By excluding unemployed but theoretically employable people who aren't seeking jobs, the "unemployment" report is always overly optimistic, since it reports only those who are seeking work as "unemployed". Both are little more than propaganda.
