My friend, Steve M. Putney, Ph.D, had a unique take on Thursday night’s debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Enjoy!
Last night's debate, if you want to call it that, was a homerun for those who had skin in the game! Bases were loaded and everybody scored - except the batter, old Joe. On first base was Trump who kept his cool while the American people got to see the real Joe Biden in action, on second base were the mainstream media who were outed for the sycophants that they have been for the last four years, that is, their repeated lies that Biden was the brightest star in the political constellation, were exposed as a falling star, and on third base were the Democratic operatives who now have public leverage in their desire to replace Biden (they've secretly wanted to replace him for months).
From the moment Biden walked out on the debate stage the optics foretold of a coming Biden disaster. Long before the end of the ninety minute political game no one was disappointed except Jill. Sadly, due to his cognitive decline Joe doesn't even know how poorly he did, and Jill's propping Joe up is now over, unless she is as delusional as is he. Seeing her help guide Joe off the stage reminded me of what Jesus said to Peter as recorded in John 21:18: "I tell you the truth, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go." Sadly, Joe now needs someone to dress and lead him. I respectfully suggest that Joe needs skilled care in a home for memory impaired patients.
Trump scored by achieving his objective, the American people scored as many can now see past the lies of the media, and the Democratic operatives scored by getting what they want - someone else to lead the ticket. So, three runners scored, while Joe failed to even crawl to first base.

Jill had to take Joe’s hand to help him off the debate stage as he struggled to walk down the three steps. Nevertheless, minutes later she was claiming her husband had a great debate, beating President Trump. Now we know she is a narcissist. She cares more about the title, privilege & comforts of First Lady than she does about her husband’s health.

Biden needs to rest at home in his declining years, as Reagan did. The difference is that Reagan showed some declining capacity at the end of his second term. Biden showed this BEFORE he was elected and all the way through his presidency. The Democrats elected a President they KNEW had dementia --- so Obama could run the show. This will eventually be called one of the biggest scandals of US history.
